TBC Turing Bit Chain is a hard fork of Bitcoin.
TBC is a public chain based on the UTXO model, which is a fork of the original Bitcoin protocol. It inherits Bitcoin's security mechanisms and UTXO model, adopting the same POW consensus scheme and SHA256 mining algorithm as BTC. At the same time, it innovatively introduces Layer 1 smart contract functionality at the underlying level, aiming to address the issues of low throughput, high transaction fees, and the inability to natively deploy complex applications that exist in the Bitcoin main chain.
