My entry for #Gate Square Writing Contest Phase 2 #ERA

Let’s be honest—most blockchains still struggle with speed, fees, and real interoperability. But Caldera? It’s doing something different. Dubbed the Internet of Rollups, it lets developers launch their own high-speed rollups that don’t slow down even when traffic spikes. It’s like giving every project its own private highway.

And the numbers speak for themselves: over $400 million in value secured, 850M+ transactions, and 25M unique addresses. That’s not small talk—Caldera is clearly built for real-world use. In fact, it’s already outpacing big names like Scroll and ZKSync in certain metrics.

Now here’s where I think it gets even more interesting: the $ERA tokenomics. Some projects push tokens into circulation too fast, leading to dumping and short-term hype. But ERA took the smarter route. With a fixed supply of 1B tokens, unlocks are slow and thoughtful. Early backers and core teams face a 1-year lockup, then a 2-year linear release—this prevents early sell-offs and keeps incentives aligned.

I also like how 21% goes to the community treasury and 7% is reserved for airdrops—proof they’re serious about decentralization and growth.

If you believe in a modular, multi-chain future like I do, ERA might just be one of the few projects genuinely building toward it—not just talking about it.
