Trump denies that he wants to "destroy Musk's company"

On July 24, Trump posted on Truth Social, saying, “Everyone is saying that I will cancel the massive subsidies that Musk received from the U.S. government, thereby destroying his company. This is not true. I want Musk, as well as all businesses in our country, to thrive, and in fact, thrive like never before. The better they do, the better America does, and that benefits all of us. We are breaking records every day, and I hope this momentum continues.”
