Powell's remarks analysis: The tone tends to be hawkish, and the Fed's position may have changed

Institutions use natural language processing models to analyze Powell’s opening remarks and believe that the tone is slightly more hawkish PI than in February and has changed somewhat from the statement after last week’s FOMC meeting. Analysts said, “Powell’s prepared remarks are generally neutral, but according to our sentiment model, the tone is not as dovish PI as last week’s discussion.”
