As part of the next phase in the evolution of onchain gaming and AI-powered infrastructure, ZKcandy introduces an optional swap program for $KRO holders who wish to participate in the upcoming launch of $CANDY — the native token powering ZKcandy, a next-generation Layer 2 for AI-driven entertainment and gamified experiences.

The $CANDY Token Generation Event (TGE) is coming soon. Eligible $KRO holders can optionally swap their tokens for $CANDY and unlock access to the ZKcandy ecosystem.

To participate in the optional $CANDY swap, holders must first bridge their $KRO to the ZKcandy Mainnet (bridge link here). Once bridged, visit the KRO Swap Page (now live) and deposit your $KRO to secure your allocation of $CANDY at TGE.

To join the $CANDY swap, $KRO holders must complete the following steps:

STEP 1: Withdraw from all staking services that will soon be discontinued.

⚠️ Reminder: All Kroma users must unstake and withdraw their assets from any staking programme before 12th June 2025.

💠 Kroma Services Affected

i. WEMIX on Kroma

Kroma currently supports a limited WEMIX ecosystem. The following services will be discontinued:

🔁 Cross-Chain Transfer Service

Facilitates transfers of WEMIX coins between the WEMIX3.0 network and Kroma.

⚠️ No other tokens are supported in this cross-chain service.

💧 Liquid Staking Service

Provides staking for WEMIX.e tokens on Kroma with yield generation.

🚨Action Required For WEMIX on Kroma Stakers

Kindly unstake your $WEMIX tokens as soon as possible to avoid delays.
Withdrawals from Kroma to WEMIX3.0 take approximately 7 days, which includes the unstaking period.
After 7 days, users must manually claim their WEMIX coins on the WEMIX3.0 network.

ii. Spectrum

Spectrum, built on Kroma, is a liquid staking service for ETH, stETH, and eETH, offering users yield from staking and restaking strategies.

Please unstake all ETH-related and BTC assets (ETH, stETH, eETH) on Spectrum as soon as possible to ensure timely access to your funds.

iii. KGH NFTs on Kroma Guardian House

KGH NFTs play a key role in boosting rewards within the Kroma Guardian House (Kroma’s validator system). With the validator system winding down, this utility will be deprecated.

🚨Action Required For KGH NFT Holders and Stakers

Be sure to unstake your $KRO token and KGH NFTs from any validator nodes before June 30, 2025 to preserve your NFTs and prepare for their future use in the merged ecosystem.

STEP 2: Bridge your $KRO tokens to Ethereum Network

After unstaking your $KRO from Kroma services, you should bridge your $KRO on Kroma L2 network to Ethereum network.

All holders of $KRO on Kroma L2 network , you should also perform this step.

🍬 Claiming Your $CANDY

After the $CANDY token is officially launched, eligible users will be able to claim their $CANDY through the official ZKcandy Claim Page.

Only wallets that have successfully deposited $KRO during the active swap period will be eligible.

🗓️ Vesting Schedule:

$CANDY distribution for the $KRO swap campaign will follow a 90-day daily linear vesting, meaning:

You will receive the equivalent amount of your $CANDY allocation distributed daily over the 90-day vesting period.
$CANDY will accumulate daily and can be claimed at any time after they begin unlocking
There’s no need to claim daily — you can wait and claim multiple days at once.
