Slow Fog Cosine: The balance in the Alby hosted wallet has been transferred by the platform, and I am not aware of the platform protocol update.
On June 10, SlowMist founder Yu Sine said on social platforms that he was also a victim of the Bitcoin wallet Alby, and the 0.00174788 BTC(191.96 ) in the Alby wallet was transferred away by the platform. It can be transferred because it is Alby’s escrow account and is not aware of its platform protocol. By checking the email, it was found that Alby sent an email on May 1, 2025 to update the platform agreement, and then the BTC in the wallet was transferred away on May 26, 2025. As previously reported, a number of community users reported that the balance in their Bitcoin Lightning Network wallet Alby was suspected to have been deducted by the platform, and Alby’s official document stipulated in the terms of service updated in March 2025: “Users have been notified to withdraw excess funds from their old Alby accounts created in 2023 and before using the shared wallet architecture for more than one year.” In order to manage these long-term dormant accounts more effectively, we reserve the right to deduct the entire remaining balance from the account after 12 consecutive months of no trading activity (i.e. no completed transactions)."
