The eToro platform is valued at $4.3 billion. The stock placement will take place at $52.
The price of the shares of the trading platform eToro was $52, which is above the initial IPO range of $46-50 and reflects increased demand. Bloomberg reports this.
The total amount of raised funds was $620 million, the capitalization was $4.3 billion (FDV taking into account options and restricted securities rights — $5 billion).
Half of the proposed 11.9 million ordinary Class A shares will be sold by the platform itself, and the other half by existing owners.
The debut of the securities under the ticker ETOR on the Nasdaq exchange will take place on May 14.
eToro filed for an IPO in March of this year.
In 2021, eToro announced its entry into the stock market through a merger with FinTech Acquisition Corp. V. The preliminary valuation was approximately $10.4 billion.
The deal was postponed to the end of June 2022 due to the lack of approval from the SEC. In July, the platform suspended the process.
Let us remind you that in April, Circle postponed its IPO amid a correction following the announcement of “liberation tariffs” by U.S. President Donald Trump.
