MetaEra news, May 4 (UTC+8), on May 4, FOX Business reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on social media that U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego( and nine other senators issued a joint statement today expressing their inability to support the revised version of the GENIUS Act released last week. The statement pointed out that the provisions of the bill are inadequate in terms of AML, national security, and financial system safety. Notably, four Democrats, including Gallego, had previously supported the original version of the bill during the Banking Committee vote in March. (Source: TechFlow)
