On April 8, according to sources from Cryptonews, Russia’s major social network, VK, announced that it would close its NFT market, “VK NFT Hub,” on April 15 due to prolonged financial losses. In 2024, VK reported a net loss of up to 94.9 billion rubles, equivalent to approximately 1.1 billion USD, nearly three times that of 2023.

The company advises users to transfer their NFTs to an external wallet before closing, otherwise they will lose access.
