Trump threatened: If Hamas does not comply with the ceasefire protocol, Israel will resume actions at his command.

On October 16, Jin10 reported that U.S. President Trump stated on Wednesday that if Hamas refuses to comply with the ceasefire protocol, he would consider allowing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to resume military operations in Gaza. He told CNN that the Israeli army “can return to the streets as soon as I give the order.” Trump mentioned in a brief phone call: “The situation with Hamas will be resolved soon.” Trump's remarks come as Israel accuses Hamas of not adhering to the protocol, specifically failing to hand over living or deceased hostages to end the Gaza conflict. This has sparked increasing anger in Israel, where authorities have informed the United Nations that due to the low number of transferred hostages' bodies, humanitarian aid entering Gaza is expected to be reduced or face latency. However, so far, this fragile ceasefire remains in place.
