LIBRA Group is in talks to launch a Meme Coin with the Nigerian Government

According to unconfirmed reports, the group behind LIBRA is also negotiating with Nigerian officials to launch another meme coin. Currently, there is no evidence linking President Bola Tinubu to LIBRA, but his group is said to be in close negotiations. Hayden Davis, CEO of the LIBRA market-making unit, stated that he has received many offers to facilitate more sell-offs. The Nigerian version of the LIBRA meme coin has been planned The controversial meme currency LIBRA, endorsed by Argentine President Javier Milei, has become the center of a major scandal. After this meme currency dropped from a market capitalization of 4 billion dollars, President Milei denied his involvement. As a result, he is now facing investigations and potential impeachment threats. Surprisingly, according to a recent report, the group behind LIBRA is planning to launch another meme coin along with the Nigerian government. The key link between LIBRA and Nigerian officials is Hayden Davis, CEO of Kelsier Ventures. He is a U.S. citizen and therefore may empower the FBI and the Department of Justice to investigate the LIBRA disaster.

Before that, Davis participated in a long interview, in which he calmly admitted to some major financial crimes. These crimes, he said, brought him new opportunities: “I don't even want to [launch more meme coins], and I don't even know how. I mean, I've become really good at being a launch strategist. Even today, with so much hate, there are still 20 people asking 'hey, when do you want to do this?'” Davis said in an interview with Coffeezilla.

The negotiations are believed to be with the Nigerian government before LIBRA is dragged down. However, Davis' comments emphasize how a successful scam can spread to another scam in the underworld. Political coins have disrupted the market Community detectives hypothesized that Davis was behind the MELANIA meme coin and related scams, and he confirmed those allegations in an interview. In other words, MELANIA may have empowered Davis to connect with Nigerian officials even before LIBRA. The report cannot confirm whether the President of Nigeria has been involved in this plan or not. However, the project has progressed well, and some members of his team are active participants. Nigeria has recently been enthusiastic about the cryptocurrency space, adding credibility to the statements. Political meme coins have been sweeping the cryptocurrency space, and its most prominent members are not sure how to fight them. Previously, hackers targeted former national leaders such as the President of Brazil and the Prime Minister of Malaysia to launch fake meme coins. If Javier Milei can print money LIBRA or Bola Tinubu can really print money meme of Nigeria, that will be a completely new model. “Cryptocurrency is very ruthless. Builders are not just competing for profit, customers, and exposure—they are fighting against meme stories and now political coins that are draining liquidity. TRUMP, LIBRA, and every passing hype cycle add pressure, but true builders will rise and make their voices heard,” Edwin Mata wrote. Hopefully, the catastrophic collapse of the LIBRA cryptocurrency has prompted the Nigerian government to withdraw from this agreement. Bold cryptocurrency scams are enjoying their moment of glory and could seriously damage the industry's reputation. If newcomers often associate the entire cryptocurrency industry with fraudsters and scams, it may take us many years to rebuild.
