Gensler reiterated his belief that the field of encryption is 'filled with bad actors'. When asked about the cases brought by the SEC against cryptocurrencies during his tenure and whether it led to a change in his behavior, Gensler said that the agency's work is built on the foundation laid by previous chairmen and that there is still much work to be done.
