Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon: 2,500 people waiting to be evacuated at the Beirut port

On October 9th, Jinshi Data News, Ali Barsh Ulusoy, the Turkish ambassador to Lebanon, stated that the work of evacuating Turkish citizens from Lebanon has begun, with 2,500 people gathered at the port of Beirut waiting to be evacuated. 'If the situation deteriorates further in the future, the number of evacuees may increase.' Ulusoy revealed that the evacuation ship carrying Turkish relief supplies has arrived in Beirut, and after unloading the supplies, the evacuees will board the ship and depart from Beirut to Turkey's Mersin.
