Citi: The United States will be a key factor affecting the macroeconomic outlook in Asia in the coming months.

On September 3, Jinshi Data reported that economists at Morgan Stanley said in a report that the future months will be key factors affecting the macroeconomic prospects of Asia, such as the rise of the US economy and the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve. Their basic prediction is a soft landing for the US economy, with the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 175 basis points by mid-2025. The institution predicts that Asia's GDP growth rate in the next four quarters will remain around 4.3%, and it holds an optimistic attitude towards India, Japan, Indonesia, and South Korea.
