According to Meta's announcement on August 5, the company released Muse Code (beta), a terminal coding agent powered by Muse Spark 1.2, its updated coding model. The tool coordinates multiple persistent subagents and maintains an event log for crash-safe restarts, allowing agents to resume exactly where they stopped after failures.

On Meta's benchmarks, Muse Spark 1.2 scored 82.9% on Terminal-Bench 2.1, trailing Anthropic's Opus 5 at 86.7% but ahead of OpenAI's Codex at 81.8%. Muse Code is available via Meta Model API and a curl install script.
