Crypto Trader @qwatio Loses $8.7M in Multiple Liquidations
Gate News bot message, trader known as The Gambler (@qwatio) experienced a series of liquidations across multiple cryptocurrency positions. His 25x ETH short position faced complete liquidation, while his 40x BTC and 10x FARTCOIN short positions underwent partial liquidations.
The recent liquidation events resulted in an $8.7M loss, contributing to his cumulative losses of approximately $25M. The trader subsequently expanded his BTC short position with 40x leverage.
According to Onchain Lens' earlier report on July 14, 2025, The Gambler had previously lost $1.22M from partial liquidations on the same positions, with floating losses surpassing $4.6M at that time.
