According to the counting results, the candidate of the Democratic Party, Lee Jae-myung, received 49.42% of the votes, the candidate of the People Power Party, Kim Wen-soo, received 41.15%, and the candidate of the Reform Party, Lee Jun-sik, received 8.34%.
