Recently, as I’ve been configuring on-chain strategies, I’ve become more and more reluctant to make the structure too complicated. Even if the returns are high, if I have to keep watching the interest rate, health metrics, and liquidation lines every day, in the end I often either can’t hold it, or my operations get distorted.

So during this period, I reallocated some TRX back into my own setup. My approach is very simple: first, deposit TRX into JustLend DAO, convert it into sTRX, and then get it for Super Representative voting and Energy Rental.

Exchange deposits don't automatically mean assets will be sold, but moves of this size are worth monitoring.

200 thousand

Bitwise

Bitwise

FDV 60 billion,

Strategy didn’t buy BTC for three straight weeks, but still easily raised $466 million—did the market misunderstand?

For the first time in history.

Strategy, the biggest corporate “bitcoin hoarder” of them all, has gone three straight weeks without buying a single BTC.

But even stranger is what happened in the very week it stopped: it raised $466 million through selling stock.

Its cash reserves went straight up to $3 billion.

It holds $3 billion in cash, yet didn’t spend a single cent on BTC.

Isn’t that weird?

Strategy’s total holdings are 843,775 BTC, with a total cost of $63.69B and an average price of $75,476.

But its accumulation pace has nearly stalled since May.

Just two weeks ago, it did a “blasphemous” thing: it sold 3,588 BTC and cashed out $216 million.

This was the largest-scale bitcoin sale in the company’s history.

In May, it sold 32 BTC—everyone treated it like a joke. From late June to early July, it directly sold 3,588 BTC—this is how it personally dismantled the “never-sell” pedestal it built for itself, piece by piece.

Meanwhile, the market value of the entire “treasury company” segment has shrunk by more than $100 billion since October 2025.

I used to think Saylor was nothing more than a fanatic believer in hoarding coins.

Now I understand—he was never a believer. He’s a top-tier capital operator.

In the past, Strategy’s logic was simple and brutal: issue debt, issue equity, buy coins, and hold. The market gave it a premium because it was willing to buy—when others panicked, it was greedy; when others were greedy, it became even greedier.

But now, Strategy is managing the liability side.

The sale of 3,588 BTC is to pay dividends on STRC preferred stock. The $466 million in equity financing pushes cash reserves from $2.55B to $3.0B. The ATM plan still has $23.8B in available capacity lying there.

It’s using the funds raised from equity financing to cover the cash needs for dividend payments, while also preserving its BTC holding baseline.

This isn’t a “hoarder.” This is a financial institution learning how to breathe.

So is “not buying coins for three straight weeks” bearish?

TD Cowen says it isn’t, reiterating a Buy rating with a target price of $260. Benchmark also says it isn’t, maintaining a Buy rating with a target price of $570.

Analyst: “This isn’t a negative signal. The key is whether the company can support its preferred stock capital structure while increasing its per-share bitcoin holdings.”

Previously, the market looked only at how much Strategy was buying. Now the market looks at how well Strategy is managing.

With $3 billion in cash reserves, the coverage period for annual dividends has already been extended to more than 20 months. That’s called leaving itself room to breathe.

At the same time, Strategy pulled off a new move—“Bitcoin bank adoption by index.” Fidelity leads with 71%, BNY Mellon is second at 46%, and Goldman Sachs is third at 45%. Overall institutional adoption is 32%.

While taking care of its own balance sheet, it’s also scoring traditional financial institutions—this company is shifting from “the biggest buyer of bitcoin” to “a rule-setter for the bitcoin ecosystem.”

“Previously, the market gave Strategy a premium because it dares to buy; in the future, it will give a premium because it knows how to manage.”

With 840k BTC as the backing, the real question is how it uses this asset—that’s the real test of its play.

Saylor used to be a gambler who only knew how to go all-in. Now he’s learned a more advanced skill: on the gambling table, he doesn’t go all-in—and still wins.

July 30—Q2 earnings.

The data I care about most isn’t the size of its holdings—anyway it’s around 840k BTC, so it won’t change much.

What I want to see is the trajectory of changes in the asset-liability ratio and cash reserves.

A month ago they said Iran’s charging for maritime passage “violates international law,” and today the U.S. itself collected 20%—double standards, played very smoothly.

In the early hours of July 14 Beijing time, Brent crude surged 9.6%, closing at $83.30 per barrel, the biggest single-day gain since May 2020. After the Asian session opened, Brent kept pushing higher and moved above $85

WTI crude rises above $80 for the first time in a month

Meanwhile, Bitcoin falls below $62,000, with a 24-hour drop of more than 3%

What’s going on?

On July 13, Trump announced on social media:

The U.S. is resuming its maritime blockade against Iran. At the same time, the U.S. will become the “Guardian of the Strait of Hormuz,” charging a 20% fee for all cargo transported through the Strait

U.S. forces will formally carry out the blockade at 4:00 a.m. Beijing time on July 15, covering all Iranian ports and areas along the coast. Vessels entering without authorization may be intercepted, diverted, seized, or even destroyed with force

Trump has already formally notified Congress: hostilities involving Iran have reignited

This set of double standards is really played very smoothly

Last month, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio also said in a stern and righteous way: Iran absolutely cannot charge in the Strait of Hormuz, because that violates international law

Rubio’s exact words: “If you can only pass by paying—call it whatever you want, a toll or a donation—that’s an international waterway. No country on Earth supports having to pay to pass through the strait.”

He also said that charging is unwise, cannot happen, and is simply not workable

A month later, the U.S. itself became the one charging

Not only does Trump charge—he also self-appoints himself as the “Guardian of the Strait of Hormuz,” and insists it’s for the sake of fairness and on fairness grounds

Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi’s response is nothing short of textbook-level mockery:

“Trump is completely correct. Whoever provides security for merchant ships to safely transit the strait should be entitled to compensation. Iran has always been the guardian of the strait, and it will always be so. 20% is of course too high—we will charge fairly.”

Translation: You’re right—charging is reasonable, but we’re the real deal, and we charge less than you

At the same time, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards took action—two foreign oil tankers were accused of “ignoring warnings and shutting down navigation systems,” were attacked, and destroyed. The UAE said the two UAE-flagged tankers were hit by Iranian cruise missiles, with 1 person killed and 8 people injured

What does this mean for the crypto market?

Bitcoin gets smashed from above $64,000 down to below $62,000. The signal from the market is very clear:

Geopolitical conflict → oil prices surge → inflation expectations rise → the Fed dares not cut rates → risk assets come under pressure

In this transmission chain, every link is tightening

And don’t forget—U.S. forces have carried out airstrikes on Iran for the third consecutive night. There are no signs the conflict is cooling down; instead, it’s escalating

An over-the-counter trader at Wintermute said something worth pondering: Bitcoin held on to $62,000 through multiple rounds of U.S. airstrikes and concerns about the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, showing that “weak hands seem to have already exited.”

In translation, that means: the people who should sell have already sold, and the rest are just old retail hodlers

“International law, in America’s eyes, is nothing more than a piece of paper that can be torn up at any time. Today they tear up Iran’s passage-fee ban; tomorrow they might tear up your position.”

Rubio said a month ago that charging violates international law, and a month later the U.S. itself leads the way in violating it. Do you think it’s a question of principle? It’s always a question of self-interest

Do you think this Brent move can push up to $90?

Attention is cheap. Ownership is priceless.
That's exactly why I'm bullish on @CXInc_SocialFi.
For years, creators have built massive audiences while platforms captured most of the value. One algorithm update could impact reach, income, and growth overnight.
CreatorX changes the equation.
Built on Base, it gives creators the ability to build an economy around their own brand, while turning supporters into true participants instead of passive followers.
This is bigger than creator tokens.
It's a future where creators own what they build, communities grow alongside them, and value flows to the people who create it not just the platforms.
SocialFi is still early, and I believe projects like #CreatorX have the potential to reshape the creator economy.
I'm super bullish on this vision. 🚀

## CPI cooling off? Don’t be fooled by the numbers! Waller’s one line makes Bitcoin scare straight past 62,000

Last night, Christopher Waller—right on the eve of the CPI release—spoke out directly:

“If this week’s core inflation data keeps burning hot, the FOMC will have to consider rate hikes in the near term.”

He added one more line—“We can’t repeat the playbook of 2021, when the response to inflation was sluggish.”

The market blew up right after.

Bitcoin fell more than 3%, at one point dropping below $62,000. Spot gold lost the $4,000 level, and slid nearly 3% on the day. Yields on 2-year U.S. Treasuries surged to 4.29%, hitting a new high since February 2025.

Overnight, the probability of a July rate hike jumped from 35% to close to 50%.

So the question is: At 8:30 tonight’s CPI—will it actually make the Federal Reserve press the rate-hike button?

### Numbers can lie, but core inflation won’t

First, look at market expectations.

Wall Street expects June’s overall CPI to fall 0.1% month over month—this would be the first monthly negative inflation since the 2020 pandemic. Year over year, it would drop from 4.2% in May to 3.8%.

Oil prices are the only reason. In June, gasoline prices fell 10% month over month, marking the fourth-largest single-month decline in nearly a decade. Just this one item alone pulls overall CPI down by 0.4 percentage points.

What happens after stripping out food and energy?

Core CPI is expected to slip only slightly year over year—from 2.9% to 2.8%. That number is almost exactly the same as a year ago, with no sign of a downtrend whatsoever.

Even more terrifying is services inflation—covering rent, car repairs, travel, and dining out—annualized growth at 3.4%, far above the 2.6% average level between 2010 and 2019.

One-sentence summary: Oil prices fell, and the inflation print looks good. But the money regular people spend every day didn’t get any cheaper.

### What Waller is truly afraid of isn’t oil

In his remarks, Waller revealed a deeper concern.

He said inflation pressure may no longer be just short-term shocks from tariffs or energy—it’s spreading across the entire economy.

Translation: Price increases are no longer caused by just a single factor like “imported goods are more expensive” or “gas prices are higher.” Instead, a vicious cycle has formed between wages, rent, service prices, and companies’ pricing behavior.

He also pointed to one more thing—AI.

He said tech companies are building data centers like crazy, buying compute power, and rolling out infrastructure. These demands are transmitting price pressure into broader areas of the economy—through electricity, equipment, construction, and labor.

In the Fed’s eyes, AI could be the fuel for the next round of inflation.

### How likely is a July rate hike, really?

My take: More than 40%, and still rising.

CME FedWatch shows the probability of a 25 bps July hike is already 41.7%—up from 25% a week ago. The probability of a September hike has surged to more than 75%.

Why?

Because Waller has already put it this plainly: “If the data shows inflation is still clearly above 2%, and even continues to rise, the Fed may need to raise rates again in the near term.”

Don’t forget: At the June FOMC meeting, among 18 decision-makers, 9 already expected at least one rate hike before the end of the year. Fed Chair Waller’s debut pushed the dot-plot rate expectations from 3.4% to 3.8%.

These people aren’t just talking.

### What does this mean for crypto markets?

If tonight’s CPI comes in hotter than expected, Bitcoin may get hit again.

Rate hikes → a stronger dollar → pressure on risk assets. The logic chain is crystal clear.

But there’s a detail worth noting: Bitcoin ETF flows are quietly reversing.

Last week, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $197 million, ending eight straight weeks of outflows. BlackRock’s IBIT also logged its largest single-day net inflow in nearly two months—$221.7 million.

Institutions are accumulating against the market while prices pull back.

What does this mean? It means smart money believes that, no matter whether rates are raised or not, someone is already picking up bargains at this level.

“CPI cooling off is for retail. Core inflation is the Fed’s ace in the hole.”

At 8:30 tonight, the numbers will speak.

But I’d advise you not to look only at the headline—look at core, look at services, and look at the things Waller is truly worried about.

Do you think tonight’s CPI will beat expectations? For the July rate hike, are you betting or waiting?#PreIPOs第二期OpenAI认购 #百万充值补贴 #沃什听证会撞上CPI ¥$BTC $ETH $SOL
