SOL at $107—would you dare bet on it today?
SOL is about to undergo major surgery today. 20% of validators aren't ready, ETF funds have fled for 12 straight days, yet the price is stuck firmly at $107—do you think this is the final shakeout before takeoff, or the last ticket before a crash?
First, the surface picture: the price is stable—so stable it’s unsettling.
Current price is around $107, up 2%-3% in 24 hours, with a market cap of 62-63 billion, ranked 6th-7th. It’s still 64% below its January 2025 ATH of $295. The chart shows a rebound from lows of $100-$103, a move above short-term EMAs, and a test of key resistance at $107-$108. RSI is around 45, neutral to weak; MACD is still below zero, and the price is below the 50-day moving average at $109-$110—short-term, it looks like a rebound; mid-term, it hasn’t turned around yet.
But today is no ordinary day.
Today is the day the Alpenglow upgrade goes live on mainnet, Epoch 1064, with activation expected between 13:20 and 15:00 UTC.
This is Solana’s biggest underlying-layer surgery since 2020.
First: the upgrade isn’t an automatic bullish catalyst—it’s a stress test
Alpenglow aims to cut transaction finality from 6-12.8 seconds to about 150 milliseconds, an improvement of roughly 40 times. Voting will be moved off-chain, and validator costs are expected to fall 60%. If it works, DEXs, payments, and high-frequency trading will benefit enormously, and SOL will be just one layer away from “centralized-level speed.”
But don’t just look at the hype—look at the risks:
Validators representing about 20.3% of staked SOL were previously flagged as not fully prepared, due to client and BLS key issues. The testnet also saw multiple resets and rollbacks.
In plain English:
Today isn’t an easy “upgrade = price pump” question. It’s a bet on whether 20% of validators will stumble.
If the launch goes smoothly, SOL becomes a highway; if the transition goes wrong, SOL becomes a crash site. Volatility will rise on upgrade day, and both flash crashes and rallies could happen within a single candle.
You’re not betting on SOL; you’re betting on whether those 20% of validators can move fast enough.
Second: ETFs have seen 12 straight days of outflows, but whales are staking at lower prices
U.S. spot SOL ETFs have seen net outflows for about 12 consecutive trading days, including about -$2.6 million on October 20 and roughly -$33 million over the past 5 days, with total assets of about $1.65 billion. Institutions are redeeming in the short term, putting pressure on the price.
But what about the other side?
Q3 non-voting transaction volume was around 14.2 billion, RWA has continued growing to about $4.4 billion, and some whales are staking at lower prices. The ecosystem isn’t dead, and the chain isn’t empty. Price and fundamentals have become noticeably disconnected.
Here’s the painful part:
Retail investors see ETF outflows, get scared, and run.
Whales see staking at lower prices, smile, and buy.
Under every “bearish fund flows” headline, there’s a group quietly moving tokens.
Third: the technical picture is stuck at the $107-$108 threshold
Resistance above: $107-$108 (recent highs + Fibonacci level) → a breakout points to $110-$114.
Support below: $104-$105 (former resistance turned support) → stronger support at $100-$102 (psychological level + cluster of lows).
A break below $100 would be short-term bearish; some have even raised the risk of a head-and-shoulders pattern.
The daily chart remains weak mid-term, while the 4H/1H charts are range-bound to bullish. A breakout needs volume to be credible.
In one sentence: $107 isn’t a buy signal; holding above $108 with volume is.
The bulls and bears face off—judge for yourself
On one side:
Alpenglow goes live today, and 150ms finality is a tangible user experience upgrade
High on-chain activity, growing RWA, and whales staking at lower prices
A rebound from $100-$103 has improved the short-term structure
A successful upgrade could boost adoption and improve sentiment
On the other side:
Validators representing 20.3% of staked SOL are not fully prepared, and the testnet has a history of resets and rollbacks
12 consecutive days of ETF outflows show institutions aren’t buying in the short term
The daily price remains below the 50-day moving average, and MACD is below zero
Macroeconomic conditions are hawkish: the Fed has raised rates to 3.75-4.00%, CPI is around 3.7%, and 10-year Treasury yields are above 5%, weighing on high-beta assets
Key levels
Resistance above: $107-$108 (the line between life and death) → $110-$114
Support below: $104-$105 → $100-$102 (the iron floor) → a break below $100 opens the door to further downside
Trading strategy
Wait for a high-volume hold above $108 before taking a small long position, targeting $110-$114, with a stop below $105.
Or, if $104-$105 holds on a retest and a stabilization candle appears, scale into a long position, with a stop below $102.
Defensive/bearish bias:
If the price rallies and then retreats after the upgrade, or loses $104-$105, watch for a retest of $100-$102. If $100 fails, the short-term outlook turns bearish—reduce exposure or hedge; don’t stubbornly hold on.
Mid-term:
Wait for three signals: a successful upgrade, ETF outflows slowing, and BTC holding above 83-84k. Until all three are in place, trade the swings and don’t go all-in for the long haul.
SOL is just like ETH in 2021—
Everyone is watching to see “whether the upgrade succeeds,” while the price chops around a key level.

UNI at $7.4—are you still waiting for CME to pump it?
CME has launched, over 100 million tokens have been burned, and protocol revenue has hit a record—but all the bullish catalysts are now in place, and the price has still fallen from 10.9 to 7.4, down 30%. Everyone is yelling “buy the rumor, sell the news,” but just now, the funding rate turned positive. Is this the end of the “good news is priced in” trade, or the beginning of institutional accumulation?
First, the surface picture: good news is met with selling, but the price hasn’t collapsed.
It has pulled back about 30% from its September high of 10.9 and is trading between 6.7 and 7.8. There are signs of a 24-hour recovery; RSI is neutral at around 39–47, while MACD is weak. The candlestick chart shows the price near the lower boundary of the ascending channel, with 7.2–7.3 as strong recent support and 6.75–6.8 as a stronger defense zone—it can’t seem to fall further, but no one dares to push it higher either.
First: The day CME launched was the day retail traders got trapped
On October 19, CME officially launched UNI futures. Standard contracts are for 10k UNI, micro contracts for 1,000 UNI, with cash settlement and 24/7 trading.
This is the first DeFi governance token listed on CME. I don’t need to say more about what that means for institutional adoption.
So what happened?
After the announcement, it surged to 10.4–10.9, then got dumped all the way to 7.4.
A classic “buy the rumor, sell the news.”
Second: UNI is no longer just a governance token used for voting
UNIfication passed at the end of 2025, officially activating the protocol fee switch, with fees used to burn UNI.
Protocol revenue hit a record in September: $15.5 million.
Total burns have exceeded 100 million tokens, including a one-time burn.
UNI used to be just voting power; now it’s a deflationary asset backed by real revenue.
But the value-capture mechanism is in place, and the price hasn’t caught up.
Why?
Because macro conditions are weighing on it, and the market doesn’t believe.
Third: A technical signal that you need to watch closely has emerged
The 7.2–7.3 support has held through multiple tests; 6.75–6.8 is a stronger defense zone.
The price is near the lower boundary of the ascending channel, in a potential double-bottom area.
The funding rate is slightly positive (longs are paying), and open interest is moderate, with no extreme crowding—this suggests the drop is driven by sentiment, not a leverage collapse.
The daily chart is choppy to weak, with the price below some MA20s.
BTC is ranging around 82,000–83k, with high inflation at 3.7% CPI weighing on it, and the Fed’s October 27–28 meeting approaching.
High-beta DeFi falls harder than BTC when the macro picture turns sour.
Range-bound in the short term; direction depends on BTC and the Fed.
Hold 7.2, and there could be a rebound; break 7.2, and it may look for a bottom at 6.7–7.0.
Key levels
Resistance above: 7.5–7.6 → 7.8–8.0 (breakout confirmation) → 8.5–9.0 → 10+
Support below: 7.2–7.3 (strong recent support) → 7.0 → 6.75–6.8 (rock-bottom support)
Trading strategy
Short-term traders:
If 7.2–7.3 holds and BTC is stable, try a small long position, with a stop-loss at 7.1 (get out if it breaks); take half off at the first target of 7.6–7.8.
If it breaks below 7.2 on heavy volume, don’t buy the dip; wait and reassess at 6.7–7.0.
Keep leverage low; don’t take a large position before the Fed meeting.
Medium-term investors:
Improving fundamentals (burns + CME institutional access) and a 30% pullback from the high make this suitable for scaling in on dips.
The key is whether it can decisively move above 7.8–8.0 and hold—if it does, the first target is 9–10.
Invalidation: a decisive break below 6.7 accompanied by a sharp drop in trading volume/revenue.
UNI is just like BNB in 2020—
Everyone thinks, “What value can a token for an exchange platform possibly have?”
Then the burn mechanism kicks in, and it goes from the teens to the hundreds.
The harshest thing about deflationary assets is this: you think it’s slow now, and later you’ll think it’s expensive.

ETH at $2,460—did you get shaken out?
ETFs hemorrhaged $1 billion in October, and everyone is shouting “ETH is heading back to 2,000,” but during the three days you’ve been hesitating, BitMine quietly accumulated 6.04 million ETH—5% of the circulating supply—and staked it all, locking it up. Is this institutions setting a trap for you, or the last window to get in?
On the surface: neither up nor down, grinding away until you want to smash your phone.
It rebounded 2% in 24 hours, but overall it’s still swinging back and forth in the 2,400–2,480 range. BTC is stuck around 82k–83k, and market risk appetite is subdued. The 20- and 50-day moving averages are pressing down at 2,500–2,550, MACD is below the zero line, and RSI is neutral to weak at 43–45.
First: ETFs are seeing outflows, but someone has bought up 5% of the circulating supply
U.S. spot ETH ETFs saw cumulative net outflows of over $1 billion in October, including daily outflows in the $26 million range.
But at the same time, BitMine (BMNR) holds around 6.04 million ETH—nearly 5% of the circulating supply. More than 5 million of those are already staked and locked up. T
Even more significant—JPMorgan expanded JPM Coin to the Ethereum mainnet, offering settlement and payments for institutional clients.
ETH is shifting from a “speculative asset” to an “institutional settlement layer.”
Second: 36% of ETH is staked, supply is locked up, but the price just won’t rise
Around 36% of ETH’s supply is already staked, with an annual yield of 2.5%–3%.
This means a third of the circulating supply won’t be hitting the market in the short term.
The Glamsterdam testnet continues to progress, while the L2 ecosystem and institutional adoption keep expanding.
The fundamentals are solid.
But strong fundamentals don’t necessarily mean the price will rise.
Why? Because macro conditions are draining liquidity.
The Fed just raised rates by 25 bp in September to 3.75%–4.00%, CPI is still at 3.7%, the 10-year Treasury yield is around 5%, and the dollar is strong.
A “higher for longer” rate environment is grinding risk asset valuations into the ground.
Third: The technicals have formed a “cage” between 2,400 and 2,480
Support: 2,420–2,440 (strong recent support, held multiple times) → 2,380–2,400 → 2,350
Resistance: 2,470–2,500 (key short-term breakout level) → 2,520–2,550 (clustered moving averages) → 2,600
The daily chart is oscillating between 2,400 and 2,480, with buying support appearing several times at 2,350–2,420.
RSI is 43–45, not oversold; MACD is below the zero line, with weak momentum.
A typical range-bound consolidation, waiting for a catalyst
Key event: FOMC on October 27–28
The market expects a 70%–85% chance of no change, but expectations of a December rate hike remain strong.
Most likely, trading will stay choppy before the FOMC; the real test comes afterward.
The bulls and bears are facing off—judge for yourself
On one side:
BitMine holds 6.04 million ETH (5% of circulating supply), with over 5 million staked—a clear price floor
JPMorgan’s JPM Coin is on the Ethereum mainnet, bringing the institutional settlement narrative to life
36% staking rate, with supply continuing to tighten
Support at 2,420–2,440 has held multiple times; the buying is real
On the other side:
ETF net outflows exceeded $1 billion in October, with institutional demand weak in the short term
The Fed just hiked rates, CPI is 3.7%, Treasury yields are at 5%—macro headwinds remain
The 20- and 50-day moving averages are pressing down at 2,500–2,550, with MACD below the zero line
Sentiment is cautious ahead of the FOMC, and December rate hike expectations persist
Trading strategy:
Short-term traders:
Scale into small long positions at 2,420–2,440, with a stop-loss at 2,390–2,400 (exit if it breaks). Targets: 2,480–2,520; reduce your position by half if it breaks above 2,500.
If it rebounds to 2,480–2,500 on insufficient volume, consider a small short position, with a stop-loss above 2,520.
Keep your position at 10%–20% of total capital, and watch funding rates and leverage. Don’t go heavy before the FOMC; volatility will increase.
Mid-term investors:
If it holds the 2,400 level, wait for sentiment to clarify after the FOMC. If macro conditions improve and ETF outflows slow, institutional accumulation could drive a recovery to 2,600–2,800.
If it breaks below 2,420 and the daily candle closes below that level, stay on the sidelines and wait to reassess at 2,380–2,350.
Long-term believers:
Dollar-cost average in batches below 2,400 and earn 2.5%–3% from staking.
But remember: don’t go all-in before the FOMC; keep some powder dry for volatility.
ETH right now is like Q4 2023—
Everyone was worn down, while institutions quietly accumulated at the bottom.
Then the ETF narrative arrived, and it shot straight from 1,500 to 4,000.
Institutions have drawn a floor for you with 5% of the circulating supply.

$BTC IS APPROACHING A CRITICAL MOMENT!
Bitcoin is still moving sideways, but price has nearly reached a key resistance zone, and the current flag formation has traders watching closely.
The next move could decide the short-term direction.
Bullish scenario: A clean breakout above resistance, backed by strong volume, could open the door for another leg up.
Bearish scenario: If BTC gets rejected again, expect another pullback and continued sideways action before the next attempt.
The setup is getting interesting, but confirmation matters more than anticipation.
Will $BTC finally break out of this range, or will sellers defend resistance once again?
All eyes on the breakout. The next move could be decisive.

BTC at $82,700—are you chasing it?
Shorts just got liquidated for $125 million, ETF flows turned positive for two days, and everyone’s calling for the bull market to return—but the wall at 84.5k has stopped price three times already. Is this the eve of a breakout, or one last shot of anesthesia?
First, the surface picture: it’s up, but not all the way up.
The current price is around 82,700, up 1.2%-1.5% over 24 hours and trading in a narrow range. It’s rebounded from June’s low of 58k—sounds impressive, right? But it’s still 34% below its October 2025 ATH of 126k, and its one-year performance is -25%. On the daily chart, it’s grinding back and forth between 80k and 85k. RSI is neutral at 50-51, and the price is stuck in the upper-middle of the range, with support at 81k and resistance at 84.5k. Support is holding, but there’s not enough volume for a breakout.
First: ETF flows turned positive for two days, and shorts just got liquidated for $125 million
On October 19, spot BTC ETFs saw net inflows of about $526.6 million, their largest single-day inflow in nearly a month. BlackRock’s IBIT alone contributed about $665 million, more than offsetting outflows from other funds. On the 20th, there was another modest inflow of $23.2 million.
As the price approached 83k, about $125 million in short positions were liquidated, and exchange open interest recovered to 53B+ as leveraged money returned.
But ETF flows for October overall are still mixed or slightly negative, and there were large net outflows just two weeks ago. Two consecutive days of positive flows mean “institutional buying is picking up,” not “the trend has reversed.”
Second: BTC is no longer digital gold—it’s a high-beta shadow of tech stocks
Recently, BTC’s correlation with the S&P 500 and tech stocks has been around 95%. In a high-interest-rate environment, the “digital gold” narrative has weakened, and BTC is behaving more like a high-beta risk asset.
Tech giants including Meta and Tesla report after the market closes tonight, and sentiment around AI stocks directly affects risk assets, including BTC. Geopolitical and oil-price volatility are also still in the background.
Third: 81k is the bottom line; 84.5k is the fig leaf
Support:
81,000-81,300: Recent lows and a psychological level, tested several times; the lower boundary of the daily uptrend channel and a previous range high.
80,000-80,600: The next level down.
A break below 80k could put 77k-78k order blocks or even lower levels in view.
Resistance:
83,500-84,500: Recent highs, the daily R1 and weekly area.
A breakout would put 86k-87k in view: previous highs and the supply zone.
Only above that does 90k+ open up.
Daily RSI is around 50-51, neutral, and the moving averages are mixed—the price is above the 200-day average, but short-term averages are a headwind. The 4-hour chart shows short-term strength, but overall there’s no clear directional breakout. At 82,700, the price is in the upper-middle of the range; a short-term rebound needs volume confirmation.
Bull versus bear—you decide
On one side:
ETF flows positive for two straight days, with heavy buying from BlackRock
$125 million in short liquidations, OI back above 53B
Long-term holders accumulating; medium- and large-sized wallets at new highs
Price above the 200-day average
On the other:
ETF flows for October overall are still mixed or slightly negative, with large outflows two weeks ago
CPI at 3.7%, above expectations; the Fed has already raised rates, and the 10-year yield once topped 5%
Three failed attempts to break through 84.5k; short-term holders’ cost basis is near breakeven, leaving them prone to selling
Tech earnings tonight and increased volatility around the FOMC
Trading strategy
Bullish approach (neutral to slightly bullish, preferred):
Scale in on dips at 81,000-81,500, with a strict stop-loss below 80,300-80,500.
First target: 83,800-84,500; second target: 86k-87k.
If BTC breaks above 84,500 and holds, accompanied by ETF inflows or improving risk appetite, add to the position and target higher.
Keep your position size within 20-30% of what you can afford to risk; don’t go all-in.
Bearish/defensive:
If BTC breaks below 80,800-81,000 and confirms with a close, look for 78k or even 76k-77k on a short, with a stop-loss above the breakout high.
If it meets resistance around 84k-84,500, you can try a small short position. Get in and out quickly; don’t get attached.
Event risk:
Tech earnings tonight could affect risk sentiment.
Volatility is likely to increase around the October 28 FOMC meeting; reduce leverage and avoid a large one-way position.
If the macro outlook turns more hawkish, through a rate hike or upward revisions to the dot plot, support could be tested.
Sustained positive flows are the key catalyst; continued outflows would put pressure on the lower end of the range.
BTC is like being stuck between elevator doors right now—
It can’t go up or down.
Those chasing longs fear a fake breakout; those shorting fear a real rally.
Market makers love this kind of range: shake out both sides and profit from each. #Gate最新储备金率达118.49% #特斯拉Q3财报 #以太坊站上2450美元 $BTC $ETH $SOL
