GateToken (GT) Q4 2025 on-chain burn completed, with a total destroyed value exceeding $1.9 billion

PANews January 8th News, according to an official announcement, the on-chain burn of GateToken (GT) for Q4 2025 has been officially completed. A total of 2,163,900.48229 GT tokens were transferred to the burn address, with a burn value exceeding 27.92 million USD. Since the launch of the GateChain mainnet in 2019, GT has been implementing a continuous burn mechanism. To date, a total of 184,819,426 tokens have been burned, with a total value of over 1.9 billion USD (based on current prices). The total token supply has been significantly reduced by approximately 61.61% from the initial 300 million. With the launch of Gate Layer and the gradual deployment of native applications such as Gate Perp DEX, Gate Fun, Meme Go, and others, Gate’s on-chain ecosystem continues to improve.
