Lighter Founder: Previously, large transfers and airdrops of the LIT token were unrelated; the app may go live in the coming weeks.
Odaily Planet Daily reports that in response to community findings, the Lighter team previously conducted multiple large transfers of LIT tokens. Lighter founder and CEO Vladimir Novakovski stated during a Twitter Space interview with jez (@izebeleth) that the token transfers are unrelated to airdrops and are instead for safeguarding investor and team allocation funds. Additionally, he revealed that the universal margin system will allow L1 assets to be used as collateral on Lighter, and the mobile app will be launched in the coming weeks.
