Why doesn’t a stop-loss sometimes execute at the set price?
Because triggering a stop-loss doesn’t guarantee execution at the trigger price.
🔹 Stop-market order: Prioritizes the chance of execution, but may experience slippage during sharp volatility.
🔹 Stop-limit order: Can limit the execution price, but may not fill when the market moves quickly.
🔹 Insufficient liquidity: An order may need to sweep through multiple price levels to be filled.
🔹 Oversized position: Even a small price deviation can significantly affect the trading outcome.
Stop-losses are important, but they’re no guarantee

Democratic Sweep Ignites an “AI Regulatory Nuclear Bomb”! $SOXL Triple-Leveraged ETF Gets Massacred Overnight: Is $61 an Abyss or a Golden Buying Opportunity?
The Democrats’ midterm election landslide has sparked market fears of tighter regulation on AI data centers, sending the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plunging 3.13% against the broader market trend. SOXL’s triple-leveraged daily reset mechanism keeps “bleeding” amid volatility. With the fallout from Intel’s disastrous earnings still lingering, the self-reinforcing decline in leveraged ETFs has left bulls no room to catch their breat

$75.3! $SOXL Big players are sharpening their knives—is this a long liquidation or a short squeeze? Retail traders, don’t be the bagholders!
Retail traders watch price gains; big players watch the chips. Behind every sharp rally and crash are bloodied knives.
Old Zhang’s take: This is a classic move to lure in longs and squeeze shorts, not a reversal. SOXL surged 8.39% in a day, which looks impressive, but net outflows over 7 days totaled $399 million. Whales hold $156 million in short positions, while longs have substantial unrealized profits. The short liquidation wall sits at 75.1–74.7, leaving the price perched right over a powder keg.
The big players’ intent is clear: use positive news from AMD’s earnings and Changxin’s buyback to push the price into the liquidation zone, force shorts to stop out, and lure retail traders into chasing longs—then turn around and distribute at the highs.
Entry advice: Don’t chase longs; wait to short at higher levels. If momentum stalls above 76, enter short, with 72 as the initial target. The rationale: SOXL crashed 48% in October, then plunged another 11.5% on November 3. A low-volume rebound is especially vulnerable to an overnight reversal.
I’ve seen far too many people try to buy the dip during a “rebound,” only to end up catching it halfway down the mountain. A sharp rally the day after a crash is often a wave to escape on, not the start of a new uptrend. @老张说趋势 Following closely

I was thinking of buying a tub of the protein powder I used to drink since Double 11 is coming up soon.
Then I saw the protein powder had gone up in price too? I can understand memory and graphics cards getting more expensive, but why protein powder? I used to buy 5 pounds of ON protein powder for just 558, but now it’s gone up to 868—a straight 60% markup 😅

The Dow surged 1,569 points in a single day, but AI computing stocks were slaughtered—what exactly is this market trading?
Folks, on the night of November 4, the U.S. stock market gave everyone a vivid lesson in “divergence.”
The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 1,569.40 points in a single day, up 3.03%, closing at 53,356.12 and marking its biggest one-day gain since April 9, 2025. The S&P 500 rose 1.58%, and the Nasdaq gained 1.44%. If you only looked at the indexes, you’d think this was a bull market for everyone to celebrate.
But take a closer look at the market, and the picture is compl

If a stock is down about 60% this year, you might think its business is in serious trouble.
But this company just reported quarterly revenue growth of 55%, net income growth of 72%, and about $1.4 billion in free cash flow.
It is AI advertising platform AppLovin (APP). After its earnings report on November 4, the stock surged nearly 23% at one point after hours. A stock that had been repeatedly sold off became a magnet for investors overnight.

Bitcoin plunges and rebounds again, putting U.S. policy in the spotlight! Is $80,000 a starting point or a test?
BTC's recent moves have been like a roller coaster, first making bulls' hearts race, then leaving bears questioning their life choices. After briefly falling below a key price zone, it quickly rebounded and challenged $80,000 again, sending market sentiment through a 180-degree turn.
But behind this move, U.S. policy expectations deserve close attention. The U.S. midterm elections have changed the balance of power in Congress, potentially affecting future crypto market structure leg

SOL trading idea this morning
Go long
Entry range: 95.50 - 95.80 (enter only after a pullback near the Bollinger middle band and a clear sign of support)
Stop-loss: below 95.00 (a break below the middle band invalidates the long)
Targets: 96.40 (upper band) → 97.20; if the breakout is strong, look to 98.00 (previous high)
Go short
Entry range: 96.50 - 96.80 (if price rallies to the upper band and previous-high resistance, consider entering on a long upper wick or bearish engulfing pattern)
Stop-loss: above 97.20 (a high-volume breakout invalidates the short)
Targets: 95.70 (middle band) → 94.9

I have repeatedly emphasized that gold is hard currency, and short-term pullbacks are normal. The uptrend is here to stay. On November 4, four trades brought in $210,000, with countless more short-term gains.
Gold prices opened sharply higher in the Asian session and are now holding above 4100. They have risen nearly 150 points since yesterday. The momentum is clearly strong. Whether from a technical perspective or as a safe-haven asset, its potential is immeasurable. So the outlook remains bullish on pullbacks.

The risk-reward ratio has reached 1:1! Conservative traders can close half the position; more aggressive traders can set a protective stop-loss (move the stop-loss up to the entry price) and risk the profits on the rest. How much meat you take is up to your own skill!$SOL ‌

After a sharp dip, Bitcoin climbed back above $80,000 on May 9 and is currently trading around $80,200. Over 50,000 traders were liquidated in the past 24 hours amid fierce long-short battles. The recurring Iran-U.S. tensions remain the primary short-term variable. Following U.S. airstrikes, Iran\'s Revolutionary Guard claimed to have breached the Strait of Hormuz defense line, leaving the ceasefire outlook uncertain. On the technical side, the daily SMA20 ,$77,970 serves as key support, with the RSI recovering from oversold levels to 43. The $80,000 level is both a psychological barrier and a bull-bear dividing line.Holding above it could lead to a challenge at $85,000, while a break may trigger a retest of the $77,000 area.
