I just saw Gate’s announcement: USD1 contracts are making a major move, entering the era of zero trading fees!
Starting at 2:00 PM on August 13, 9 new USD1 perpetual contracts will be launched.
The most important part is the fee promotion. After doing the math carefully: maker orders are completely free, while taker orders get 75% off.

That’s the plan after the Japanese Bitcoin treasury company agreed to invest roughly $134.6M into Nasdaq-listed Super League Enterprise.
💡...instead of simply buying more Bitcoin in Japan, Metaplanet will contribute 2,100 $BTC worth about $132.1M plus $2.5M in cash, receiving shares, preferred stock, and warrants in return.

I just went to Mid Valley in Malaysia and bought 2 boxes of GD-05,
The first box gave me the only LR I was missing, Zero, and I also pulled an EX alternate art card. I was really happy.
But the second box only had an SP R+ Sazabi…
Overall, I lost about NT$800.
But I’m still very happy. Although I didn’t pull the Asian Master LR+, at least I now have all the LRs.
