I didn’t do anything—just went to the restroom, and when I came back, the candlestick chart had already done the work for me.

A few days ago, the afternoon session was still grinding back and forth. While everyone else was waiting on the sidelines, I was watching those few buy orders absorbing the selling. The price kept getting pushed lower, but someone was taking the other side, and volume was gradually picking up. The funds were quietly flowing in. I judged that this wasn’t a bear trap, but a shakeout. At the time, I said just one thing: bullish, go long.

The U.S. August CPI report is scheduled for September 11 at 8:30 AM ET, and this is one of the most important macro events for BTC, stocks, Treasury yields and Federal Reserve expectations. The previous July CPI showed a 0.1% monthly increase and 3.4% annual inflation, while the current consensus expects August headline CPI at around 0.4% MoM and 3.4% YoY.
