JPMorgan’s IBIT Bitcoin ETF bet just missed its escape hatch to avoid 6% deduction
The iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) closed at $44.46 on Aug. 26, about 30.2% below the $63.69 price needed to trigger an early exit from a $21.374 million JPMorgan structured .

Bitcoin is back above $80K after a powerful breakout fueled by a massive short squeeze, with over $4B in bearish positions wiped out in two days.
Strong U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF inflows and softer yields are adding real support behind the move. The rally is also improving sentiment across major assets like $SOL .
Now, $80K–$82K is the key resistance zone. If $BTC flips it into support and holds above $83K, the rally could gain further strength.
A squeeze can send Bitcoin higher, but spot demand must keep it there.

This price action is so obvious I don’t even need to think—the account is dancing on its own. When the dump started in the early session, $TAC ’s rebound was sluggish, with volume failing to follow and buying support being a complete mess. My judgment at the time was simple: heavy selling pressure and a weak rebound—clearly a bull trap.

Near support, I chose to go long in anticipation of a rebound, resulting in a profit retracement.
