Looking back at the strategy I shared with everyone yesterday, after a rally, quite a few of you were left holding BTC near 80,000. At noon today, I told everyone to add to their positions around 81,000. After this pullback, those who followed along have already successfully broken even, with a small profit to boot. I also repeatedly emphasized throughout: keep the initial position small, and wait for opportunities to act as the market develops. Risk management always comes first.

For those without positions, I also suggested setting up short positions in BTC in the 80,800–81,400 range. BTC h

Why do I keep reminding you not to rush to buy the dip?

After rebounding from 2235 to around 2280, many people are starting to think the bottom is confirmed again, even expecting a direct move to 2400. But a rebound after a sharp drop is often the trap most likely to let your guard down.

ETH is taking the other side, shorting the rebound and entering around 2275, with unrealized profits of about 5.5KU so far. It’s not that I’m ruling out a rebound, but one rebound shouldn’t be mistaken for a trend reversal.

I’m watching $XRP after its sharp drop toward $1.23 on this 4H chart.

Support is near $1.20. Holding this level and moving back above $1.25 could help buyers recover. The next resistance area is $1.31 to $1.34.

Losing $1.20 would weaken the setup. For now, I’m waiting to see how price reacts near support.

Bitcoin dipped to below $76,000 on Thursday as the Nasdaq 100 dropped about 5%, erasing the gains it made after the midterm vote, CoinMarketCap data show.

More than $600 million in bullish crypto bets were liquidated in four hours, including about $190 million in Bitcoin, CoinGlass data show.

Glassnode puts support at $73,000 to $76,000 and says a sustained break below $73,000 would point to a longer consolidation.
