Oil prices surge, so be careful with stocks and rate-cut expectations
Crude oil surged 5.7%; what the market fears most at the next stop is not the gas station, but “inflation + high interest rates”
When many people see crude oil soaring, their first reaction is that energy stocks are about to take off.
That’s right, but if oil prices continue rising, what financial markets really need to watch out for is inflation picking up again.
After tensions between the US and Iran escalated, crude oil prices quickly climbed, with Brent briefly reaching around $95 and WTI moving above $91. Meanwhile, the

August was a great month.
Sized up big into BTC, ETH and SOL longs while most were still arguing about the bottom.
The playbook for the rest of the year is simple: losses stay small, winners run. That's it. That's the edge nobody wants because it isn't exciting.
And here's the part most aren't ready for, the conditions forming right now are the kind that print those 100–200R months. Next 2–3 quarters.
Position before so that you don't end up chasing.

I was just about to send a meme to ease my anxiety, but the market perked up on its own first. When the market was just getting dumped in the early session, I kept watching that rebound, and the more I looked, the more it felt like a bull trap. With sell-side pressure so strong, every push upward looked like it was running out of steam. I immediately judged it to be a paper tiger.
I switched to a short position, entered at 3.957, and with the current price at 3.849, I’m up +131.43%—this wait was truly not in vain. When it comes to shorting, patience matters more than courage. If you can’t wait

You do not even need to be a degen to make money on Robinhood.
The volumes are so strong, it doesn't matter what you touch, it will print you money.
The alpha is to track:
- Volumes
- New pairs
- High fee tier pools
- New stock listings
Bridged practically everything to RH chain to capture this, not too late.
Put that hood up

Gate Event Contract Sharing Challenge: This time, it’s not just trading—it’s more like a public test of market judgment

As U.S.-Iran tensions escalate, crude oil is the first to “sound the alarm”: a 5.7% rise is no joke
U.S.-Iran tensions deteriorate, sending crude oil up 5.7% in one go: what the market truly fears is not war, but oil shipments being disrupted
Crude oil’s sudden surge this time appears on the surface to be driven by geopolitical conflict, but behind it is actually a repricing of supply-chain risks.
As the U.S.-Iran military confrontation escalates again, the market has begun to worry once more about the safety of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. The latest news shows Brent crude at one po
