Four major tech earnings reports are due over the next two weeks. The common thread is not revenue growth itself, but whether massive AI capital expenditure is translating into measurable returns. Below is why each report matters and the specific metrics that will determine the market reaction.
Oct 28 (after close) — Microsoft (MSFT)
Microsoft guided first-quarter fiscal 2027 capex above $50 billion and committed to positive free cash flow for the full year. The stock trades near 29 times earnings but far higher on free cash flow, meaning the market is not pricing demand skepticism — it is pricing the return on that spending. Azure is the single most critical revenue driver over the next decade, and management guided constant-currency growth of 44%–45% after posting 43% last quarter. Morgan Stanley notes that roughly 47% would be needed to support the stock. The risk is not a demand miss; it is whether cloud gross margin (65% last quarter) holds as Azure mix rises.
Oct 28 (after close) — Alphabet (GOOGL)
Alphabet has beaten revenue expectations in each of the past eight quarters, so a beat alone may no longer be sufficient. Options are pricing a 5.07% one-day move, above the historical average of 4.02%. Google Cloud is the most promising growth driver, with BofA forecasting 93% growth versus an 89% consensus, driven by expanding capacity and incremental TPU sales. The critical question is whether TPUs can lower computing costs and improve cloud profitability, rather than simply fuel another round of capital-intensive expansion. Adjusted net income is expected to decline 7.6% even as revenue grows 28.9%, putting non-operating items and profitability drivers under scrutiny.
Oct 29 (after close) — Amazon (AMZN)
Consensus expects revenue of $202.08 billion (up ~12%) but EPS of just $1.96 versus $1.95 a year ago — essentially flat. This divergence highlights compressed operating leverage. Deutsche Bank forecasts operating income of **$26.9 billion**, 3.5% above consensus, and raises its AWS growth estimate to 41% from 40%, accelerating from 37% in Q2 despite a higher comparison base. The market will test whether operating income lands in the guided range without another one-time benefit, after Q2's EPS was roughly 81% paper gains from Anthropic valuation adjustments.
Nov 2 (after close) — Apple (AAPL)
Apple guided gross margin to 47%–48%, down from 50.1% in the June quarter, which had benefited from a roughly two-percentage-point tariff refund. UBS expects 47.5%, citing higher memory chip costs and estimating an underlying year-over-year decline of about 70 basis points. iPhone revenue growth is forecast at about 14%, a slowdown from 22%–23% in each of the previous three quarters. Services revenue is expected at $31.6 billion (10% growth), with App Store growth in low single digits. Citi also flags the lack of a base model at this autumn's launch and the impact of agentic AI as additional concerns.
Nov 18 (estimated) — NVIDIA (NVDA)
NVIDIA guided Q3 revenue to $108.0 billion ±2%, with non-GAAP gross margin at 74.0% ±50 basis points. The company has exceeded the high end of its revenue guidance in each of the past 12 quarters, averaging 3.1% above the high end over the past four — a trend that would imply revenue near $113.6 billion. Data center revenue was $89.0 billion last quarter (+117% YoY), and management has said it expects fiscal 2028 revenue growth of approximately 70%, well above the roughly 45% analyst consensus. The key risk is supply, not demand, and whether the Vera Rubin ramp proceeds on schedule.

GLOBAL MARKETS UNDER PRESSURE — IS BITCOIN SHOWING RELATIVE STRENGTH?
Bond yields are climbing, energy prices are rising, and inflation concerns are returning to the spotlight. Meanwhile, stocks and precious metals are facing selling pressure.
Here’s the bigger picture:
📉 Bonds: Higher yields increase borrowing costs and can pressure risk assets.
⚡ Energy: Rising oil and gas prices could reignite inflation fears.
🏠 Real Estate: China's property downturn and US housing affordability remain key concerns.
🌍 Market Sentiment: Investors are reassessing risk as uncertainty spreads across financia

$ZEC
The pullback is testing whether buyers can defend this recovery.
Entry: $1,210–$1,230, after a bullish 4H confirmation
TP1: $1,280
TP2: $1,330
TP3: $1,380
Stop-loss: $1,170
Invalidation: 4H breakdown below $1,178.
I want to see buyers defend the $1,210 area before entering. If it holds, a move back toward $1,300+ comes into focus. No chasing if price runs without a retest.

$ZEC is currently at 1238.12. The upper Bollinger Band at 1246.07 is the first resistance, while MA20 at 1226.08 is the short-term bullish defense line. Price is consolidating in a narrow range between the two, a typical pre-breakout buildup pattern.
Compared horizontally with other active coins over the same period, $ZEC has more balanced relative strength: its 24h gain of +0.60% is unspectacular, but its trading volume of 168.9M USDT far exceeds 20.8M and $ALT 's 6.9M, giving it a clear liquidity advantage. MA5=1238.28 is above MA20=1226.08, with the moving averages in a bullish alignment;

The next move depends on whether buyers can defend the current base.
Entry: $4.75–$4.85, after a bullish 4H confirmation
TP1: $4.98
TP2: $5.15
TP3: $5.35
I’m watching $4.72–$4.80 closely.
Hold this zone and a recovery toward $5.15–$5.35 is possible. Lose support, and I’m staying out

Treat $XAUT as a question to be tested: current price 3,997.22, 24-hour change -1.58%, participation at 0.23x. What we know is clear; what we don't know is whether real buying will show up when key levels are reached. One simple rule of thumb: RSI entering low territory only means selling pressure has been released in a concentrated burst, and the price may rebound; only stopping the slide to new lows and reclaiming a key level adds evidence that the decline has bottomed. A sharp price drop can make something feel cheap, but cheapness is a feeling; a confirmed halt to the decline is evidence

Ethereum Market Outlook: Can ETH Defend $2,300?
1. Market Structure: A Relief Rally or a Trend Reversal?
Ethereum is attempting to recover, but the broader market structure remains bearish. Trading around $2,400–$2,470 in late October 2026, ETH is down approximately 19% year-to-date and remains nearly 51% below its August 2025 all-time high of around $4,946.
For now, the rebound looks more like a temporary recovery within a broader downtrend than the beginning of a sustained bullish reversal.
2. The Forces Behind ETH's Weakness
Several factors are weighing on Ethereum's price action.

Using timeframe confluence to find opportunities in $UNI : key levels and exit lines
When I looked at $UNI ’s chart again, I first covered up the 24-hour +2.75%. It’s too easy to grab your attention. What really needs explaining right now is that $UNI moved first on the 1-hour chart, while the 4-hour chart hasn’t confirmed it yet. I’ll treat the shorter timeframe as a reminder, not a conclusion; without confirmation from the larger timeframe, the direction can still change.
My view is that I’d rather see this as a direction that remains unconfirmed than rush to label it a rebound or a pullback.

Why do some trading strategies perform well in range-bound markets but start losing repeatedly as soon as the trend reverses?
Have you ever experienced this?
A strategy performs well over the past few months. Its backtest curve is steady, and its win rate looks impressive.
But one day, the market starts to change.
Buy signals that used to work begin failing one after another, stop-outs become more frequent, and the account drawdown keeps growing.
You start questioning your indicators, adjusting parameters, or even considering replacing the strategy entirely.
But there is one possibility you ma
