I just hit refresh, and it shot up as if I had startled it. The screen stopped at 0.001447, getting farther and farther from my 0.002429 short entry, while the return suddenly jumped to +989.35%. I was worried it might rebound just a moment ago, but that turned out to be unnecessary.

When the market was dumped earlier in the morning, the small rebound lacked volume and smelled strongly of a bull trap, so I went short directly around 0.002429. Some people were still saying they wanted to go long, but I said nothing. The subsequent drop came even faster than I expected.

Initial claims were 206,000 previously, with 205,000 expected. They will most likely continue hovering at low levels, with no clear easing in the labor market yet.
More importantly, PPI is expected to rise 0.4% month-on-month (previously 0) and increase to 5.3% year-on-year. It was flat in July, but is expected to pick up again in August.
