What Is a Stop-Loss Order? Why Is Setting a Stop-Loss Important, Yet Unable to Guarantee an Exit at the Expected Price Every Time?

In cryptocurrency trading, no one can always accurately predict price movements. The purpose of a stop-loss is not to ensure that a trade never loses money, but to limit risk in advance when the market moves against expectations and prevent losses on a single trade from continuing to grow. However, a stop-loss is not an absolute safeguard; extreme market conditions can still lead to slippage.

First, what is a stop-loss order?

A stop-loss order is a trading tool

Found an open-source text-to-CAD project and tried running it. Seems fine for making small things, though I have no idea what the thing in the picture is.

All I’m missing now is a 3D printer. My dream is to have a 3D printing farm with a few hundred printers, printing away all night, then going to harvest the goods the next day. If I get too busy shipping orders and taking new ones, I’ll just hire one or two people.

And then I’ll live an ordinary, uneventful life (by which I mean making over 10,000 a day).

What is trade review? How can you identify real problems amid consecutive wins or losses without being misled by short-term results?

In cryptocurrency trading, consecutive wins can lead to overconfidence, while consecutive losses may trigger panic and impulsive actions. But short-term results do not fully reflect the quality of a strategy. A truly valuable review examines the rationale behind each trade, the execution process, and risk management to identify issues that can be improved over time.

First, what is trade review?

Trade review is the process of systematically examining past trade

Why can tighter stop-losses sometimes lead to consecutive losses?

In cryptocurrency trading, many people believe that tighter stop-losses mean lower risk. This idea has some merit, but if market volatility and trade structure are ignored, overly tight stop-losses may cause traders to exit too frequently and miss moves that otherwise unfold as expected.

For example, suppose you buy Bitcoin near a certain price, planning to profit from a continuation of the trend. If your stop-loss is too close to your entry price, a normal price pullback may trigger it. The price then rises again, leaving you

A reminder: U.S. October nonfarm payrolls data will be released tonight at 9:30. If it comes in above expectations, the odds of a Fed rate hike may rise further; if it comes in below expectations, the odds of a Fed rate hike in December may fall. These expectations have had some impact on the market following hawkish remarks by two Fed officials yesterday, though the impact was not because of them. At 5:30, Williams, the Fed’s No. 3 official, will also speak—let’s see whether he takes a hawkish or dovish stance

Why are traders more likely to take on excessive risk after a streak of profits?

In the cryptocurrency market, there is an easily overlooked risk: after a streak of profits, people may actually become less cautious.

After making profits on several consecutive trades, traders can develop the illusion that they have mastered the market’s rhythm and are likely to correctly predict what comes next. So they start increasing their position sizes, loosening their entry criteria, and even ignoring stop-loss rules they used to follow strictly.

But the market won’t guarantee that you’ll be right toda

Why Isn't the Price Shown by the Exchange Necessarily the Price You Ultimately Get?

In crypto trading, you might see Bitcoin trading around a certain price. But after clicking buy, you may find that the average execution price is higher than expected. The same goes for selling: the price displayed on screen may look good, but the amount you ultimately receive may be less than you imagined.

This doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with the exchange. The latest traded price, bid and ask quotes, and your actual execution price may differ.

First, the latest traded price isn't the price
