Gate Prediction Markets has officially launched the Macro Markets Hub, bringing together key economic topics, including Federal Reserve rate decisions, inflation, employment, economic growth, Treasury yields, and recession risks. The Hub consolidates event probabilities, trading volumes, and timelines into a single visual dashboard, helping users track key economic indicators and shifts in market expectations more intuitively. Users can access the feature by updating the Gate App to version 8.41 or later.
The Federal Reserve rate decision section aggregates active interest rate decision events and displays them in chronological order, with countdowns for each event. For potential outcomes, including rate hikes, rate cuts, and unchanged rates, the page automatically ranks the top three options by market probability and groups the remaining outcomes, allowing users to quickly understand the distribution of current market expectations. As new events become available, the event list updates automatically, making it easier to track changes in monetary policy expectations over time.
The economic indicators section features four cards covering core CPI, core PCE, nonfarm payrolls, and the unemployment rate. Each card displays the latest reporting month, the forecast outcome with the highest probability, and the corresponding trading volume. The GDP module presents different economic growth ranges and their respective probabilities for the latest active quarter, enabling users to compare market expectations for economic growth. The Treasury yield module covers 5-year, 10-year, and 30-year yields, displaying target yield ranges and their forecast probabilities. Meanwhile, the recession module uses a semicircular gauge to visualize market-implied probabilities of events related to a potential US economic recession.
One key highlight of this upgrade is the visual presentation and integration of macroeconomic information. Through a range of charts and interactive features, the Hub translates market expectations for different economic indicators into clear probability distributions and visual representations, with event probabilities updated dynamically. Users can quickly compare expectations across macroeconomic indicators, click through to individual event pages for more details, and switch between the “Key Events” and “News” sections at the bottom of the page to access related information. This creates a seamless transition from monitoring macroeconomic data to exploring specific events.
To improve accessibility, Gate has added entry points to the Hub across multiple sections of the platform, including Prediction Markets, the Live section, the personal assets page, and Alpha. The page also supports content sharing, making it easier for users to access and share macro market information. Through these multiple entry points and dedicated content organization, Gate further expands access to macroeconomic information and makes relevant economic events and market data more convenient to explore.
As an early mover among centralized trading platforms in the Prediction Markets space, Gate continues to drive product innovation and expand the use cases of Prediction Markets.
