Gate Announcement on Delisting BVIX and EVIX Perpetual Futures Trading and Rebranding to List BVOL and EVOL Perpetual Futures

Gate will delist BVIX and EVIX perpetual contract trading markets at 08:00 on July 30, 2026 (UTC). Detailed arrangements are as follows:

Starting at 07:30 on July 30, 2026 (UTC), the above contract trading markets will be adjusted to Reduce-Only mode.

At 08:00 on July 30, 2026 (UTC), Gate will perform liquidation settlement for open positions using the average index price from the final half hour before the delisting. Any unfilled orders will be automatically canceled.

If you have any trades in the above markets, please adjust your strategy in advance and complete closing positions before 16:00 on July 30, 2026 (UTC+8); otherwise, they will be automatically settled.

About the Settlement Price Calculation Method During Contract Delisting

When the contract is delisted, Gate will automatically liquidate open positions using the average index price from the final half hour before the contract delisting. If the price fluctuates significantly during the final half hour, a wider-range average index price will be selected to avoid losses to users caused by price manipulation.

At the same time, Gate has renamed the BVIX and EVIX perpetual contract trading symbols and officially launched the BVOL and EVOL perpetual contracts.

This change applies only to the trading symbols. The BVOL and EVOL perpetual contracts keep the same underlying assets and trading rules as the original BVIX and EVIX perpetual contracts.
