took profits today on crypto because the move feels like more of a relief that the midterms are over and the world didn't end. don't have a read yet on the implications of democrats taking over the house/senate but initial impressions are that its bullish. and I like that trump & co will be investigated in regards to their crypt

Then election clarity hit and $320M in shorts got liquidated in 30 minutes.

Crypto PACs spent $63M to beat one senator. He won anyway, and markets ripped.
Democrats took both the House and the Senate. The Dow is up 2.9% today, oil is down 8.6%, and BTC is back above $80K after dipping under $76K overnight. Markets don't care who won, they care that nobody can do too much now.
For crypto that means slower rules, not a ban. A split government is bullish, or is it just relief? dyor 🫡
