Market saw a volume correction over the last week. Should be seeing a slight change in momentum. Consolidation of big caps and movement in small caps.

Ahead of Wednesday’s CPI release, on-chain whales have already started rebalancing their positions.
U.S. stocks are closed, but U.S. stock contracts on Hyperliquid are still trading.
Position changes worth millions or tens of millions of dollars are worth a look.
Large buys don’t necessarily mean bullish sentiment; they could simply be shorts closing.
CPI above expectations: If Treasury yields rise, tech stocks could come under pressure.
CPI below expectations: Risk appetite could recover.
After the data is released: Will whales continue adding to their positions, and can prices keep up?

$CYBER A 15.88% surge, and I’ve been watching the 0.41 level for three days.
Let’s start with the facts: the current price is 0.4102, the 24h high is 0.4190, the low is 0.3447, and the trading volume is 15M. Pay attention to this volume—what does 15M in trading volume alongside a 15% gain indicate? Turnover is accelerating, but this isn’t the kind of volume spike caused by whales dumping. It looks more like small and medium-sized funds made a quick sweep of the 0.34-0.42 range.
There’s no direct $CYBER news today, so the logic behind this move has to be found on-chain and in the ecosystem. Cyb

Korean Stocks Plunge: Crisis or Opportunity? My Choice: Worth Watching, but Absolutely No Blind All-In
Korean stocks have fallen sharply, led by Samsung Electronics and SK hynix, and the market immediately split into two camps: one believes the risks are expanding and that investors should exit first; the other believes the decline in high-quality semiconductor companies has created an opportunity, so if not now, when? Faced with this divide, my view is that the opportunity is worth studying, but short-term sentiment must be distinguished from long-term value.
From a long-term perspective, the

Monday Morning Update 🚨👇
Not much movement across the board in the pre-market.
Things are slightly mixed, with no clear direction just yet.
With the bond market closed today, OIL looks to be the main market driver... $BRENT is currently trading around $108 and is green on the day.
> The next few hours will be telling for which direction we head today.
I think if we see Brent pushing above $109, stocks and crypto will react somewhat negatively...but even with that, I don't see much happening until tomorrow...when we get an update on the 10Y.
Personally, I wouldn't be opening any new trade

Gold short-term trading, all three trades hit today! 🎯
All the exclusive levels for Gate subscribers updated at 14:00 this afternoon were hit precisely!
✅ Long at 4184, banked $4
✅ Chased the short after breaking below 4179, banked $10
✅ Reversed to long at 4170, banked another $9
All three trades hit, profiting from both longs and shorts, capturing a total $23 move!
The key is not that we captured $23, but that gold only moved a little over $20 in total this afternoon, and we caught almost every opportunity in both directions!

Of course, I don’t see many reasons to be bearish on #Bitcoin . It is currently facing a key resistance zone, and we need to break through it. Besides that, this low volatility is a good thing for #Altcoins . That’s why you’re seeing more momentum flow into those altcoins, and I don’t think this trend will stop. Breaking above $84,000 would be the trigger for a potential move to $90,000.

$XLM XLM reversal in sight?
On the daily chart, XLM is showing an interesting setup, with multiple metrics converging and suggesting the potential for a breakout above the daily structure's imbalance (candle close above). The primary target would be the furthest imbalance that has yet to be retested since the structure was established. Is a 100% move on the table? Let's keep a close eye on it and see how the price action develops.

Korean Stocks Plunge as Samsung and SK Hynix Slide. Is It Time to Buy the Dip?
South Korean equities opened the week with a sharp sell-off on Monday, October 12. Korean Stocks Plunge as Samsung and SK Hynix Slide. Is It Time to Buy the Dip?
South Korean equities opened the week with a sharp sell-off on Monday, October 12. The benchmark KOSPI plunged 3.65% to close at 6,384.24, marking its first close below 6,400 in roughly two months and its largest single-day drop in about a month. The tech-heavy KOSDAQ followed suit, tumbling 4.83% to 849.19.
The Damage in Semiconductors
The two memory-chip giants bore the brunt of the selling. Samsung Electronics fell 4.39% to close at 250,500 won, equivalent to approximately $187.60 at the current exchange rate of 1,335.1 won per dollar. SK Hynix dropped 4.52% to 1.6 million won, or roughly $1,198.50 in dollar terms. This decline occurred despite Samsung reporting record-breaking earnings, a fact that has puzzled many market participants.
What Drove the Sell-Off?
Several factors combined to pressure the market:
1. Foreign Selling: Foreign investors net sold approximately 2.02 trillion won on the day and have been net sellers for five consecutive sessions, offloading roughly 8.6 trillion won over that period.
2. Buyback Support Fading: Market analysts noted that Samsung and SK Hynix may have completed their treasury stock purchases, removing a key source of demand.
3. AI Profitability Concerns: During the Korean market holiday, doubts expanded in the U.S. about artificial intelligence profitability following news that OpenAI's annualized revenue was below market expectations.
4. Middle East Tensions and Inflation: Renewed Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia's main airport pushed oil prices higher, fueling inflation concerns and complicating the Federal Reserve's policy outlook.
Is This a Buying Opportunity?
The bull case for accumulating Korean tech stocks on weakness rests on several points:
· Goldman Sachs views the KOSPI's divergence from the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (SOX) as a positioning washout rather than a cycle top. The firm noted that forward earnings expectations remain solid, with HBM4 capacity ramp-up and equipment shortages expected to sustain AI infrastructure demand through 2028.
· Korean tech stocks are trading at multi-decade low valuations, which Goldman cited as a reason to accumulate high-conviction memory and tech leaders during significant discounts.
· Samsung's record earnings suggest the fundamental business remains strong, even as the stock price faces selling pressure.
The bear case, however, warrants consideration:
· Foreign outflows show no signs of reversing. Yuanta Securities analyst Lee Jae-won noted that "the biggest concern for the domestic market is not semiconductor earnings but foreign investor supply and demand".
· The KOSPI has broken below its 100-day moving average, a technically significant level, while the 200-day average barely holds.
· Valuation alone is not a catalyst. As one analyst put it, "solid fundamentals being confirmed and foreigners immediately returning to buy Korean stocks are separate issues".
Key Levels to Watch
· KOSPI Support: 6,300–6,350 (psychological and technical zone)
· Samsung Electronics:$183.50–$187.25
· SK Hynix: $1,161–$1,198.50
The Bottom Line
The Korean market is caught between strong semiconductor fundamentals and heavy foreign selling pressure. The sell-off appears driven more by positioning, macroeconomic headwinds, and a fading buyback catalyst than by any deterioration in the underlying chip cycle. For long-term investors, Goldman's thesis of a positioning washout rather than a structural top offers a compelling framework. However, the absence of a near-term catalyst for foreign inflows suggests patience may be required.
Would you buy the dip, or wait for confirmation of a bottom?
