BREAKING: $62.6 trillion BNY completes a tokenized U.S. Treasury triparty repo workflow with Citadel Securities. A 2-year Treasury note settled within minutes on BNY's private digital ledger, then served as collateral in an overnight repo funded by BNY.
Just $zama retraced to the breakeven line and triggered the stop-loss. Generally, when I open a position on an altcoin and it becomes profitable, I habitually set a breakeven stop-loss. I’ll assess the situation after the CPI release tonight and get back in if appropriate.

US consumer prices rose 3.7% in the year to September, above the 3.6% forecast, and Bitcoin and gold fell within minutes. The hotter reading raises the odds of another Federal Reserve rate hike, which would lift borrowing costs.
Core inflation, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, also beat forecasts at 2.6%, against an expected 2.5%. Both measures climbed from August’s readings of 3.4% and 2.4%.

📊Gate has also ranked third globally in RWA perpetual contract trading volume, which is truly worth paying close attention to.
RWA has been a highly discussed area in the market over the past two years, but for trading users, narrative alone is not enough. What matters is whether the assets can actually be traded, whether there is sufficient market depth, and whether liquidity can handle demand. In particular, users trading derivatives and strategies do not look only at the concept; ultimately, they focus on product maturity and actual trading activity.

How it started: How it ended:
$ZEREBRO I almost gave back all the money I made at the start of the year in this move. I got buried chasing the rally at 0.047 last time, held for three days, and finally cut my position at 0.028, taking a full loss of 47,000 U. My account shrank by a third overnight. I genuinely couldn't sleep those days, staring at the candlesticks and wanting to slap myself.
After cutting my position, I didn't leave. I put it back on my watchlist and let it sit. Looking at the data again over the past two days, I noticed a few things I'd overlooked before.
It's currently at 0.0329, up 23.58% in 24 hours, w

The US September CPI just came out (20:30), and it was hotter than expected.
Headline CPI came in at 3.7% year-over-year, versus 3.6% expected and 3.4% last month; month-over-month CPI was 0.6%, in line with expectations, driven mainly by oil prices.
The key figure was core CPI (excluding food and energy): 0.3% month-over-month, versus 0.2% expected; 2.6% year-over-year, versus 2.5% expected.
Core CPI also exceeded expectations, showing that price increases are not just about oil. The Fed has even less reason to ease, rate-cut expectations are being pushed back, and risk assets are taking an i

As soon as 8:30 hit,
there wasn’t even any news yet,

ChangXin makes DRAM, while SanDisk, which makes NAND, got knocked down along with it. I’ll take this mismatch.
SanDisk pulled back 12% over three trading sessions, closing at 1487.33 on October 12, down 5.97%. It hit a new intraday low since August, then closed at 1482.33 on October 13. It’s now around 1452.
But the reason it got hit has little to do with SanDisk: ChangXin’s 4F² is a DRAM architecture, while SanDisk makes NAND. They are two different markets with two separate supply-and-demand dynamics.
Its own fundamentals haven’t changed either: revenue was 8.96 billion last quarter, up 372%

US September CPI data has been officially released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the numbers came in softer than market expectations across the board. Headline CPI printed at 3.2 percent year-over-year, down from the previous 3.4 percent reading. Core CPI, which excludes the volatile food and energy components, came in at 2.2 percent year-over-year, declining from 2.4 percent and marking the lowest core reading since early 2021. Shelter inflation eased to 4.6 percent from 5.0 percent. Energy inflation slowed to 4.1 percent from 5.6 percent. Food inflation moder
