The market has basically priced in a 25 bp hike in advance, and BTC has been driven down to around $80k. What could really be critical is not whether rates are raised, but whether the dot plot will signal that further hikes are still to come.
If the Fed sounds more hawkish, BTC’s $76k level will likely come into focus again; but if it is less hawkish than expected, could we instead see a direct rebound? It feels difficult for both bulls and bears to take a position tonight. I’m only holding GT and U.

This $TAO drop, I’m short, but I built the position in batches. In the initial setup, I saw the rebound come on declining volume, with clear moving-average resistance and the previous high repeatedly facing pressure, so I opened a base position first and added on the rebound.

While holding, the price broke below 231.3 without quickly reclaiming it, so the bearish trend continued. There was a wick in between, but I wasn’t stopped out because the protection level was placed outside the structure, rather than too close.

After unrealized profit reached +291.48%, I realized profits on an 80/20

CLARITY didn’t pass, and the real heavyweight is here today.
Yesterday’s Senate procedural vote failed to advance at 49-50, and BTC briefly fell below 76000 as the market priced in the regulatory bad news first.
There’s only one thing to watch today: the Fed’s interest rate decision.
The market has already priced in a 25-basis-point rate hike to a large extent. What will really determine where BTC goes next is Warsh’s wording and the dot plot.
In addition, the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield previously broke above 5% for a time, so liquidity pressure has not completely disappeared.
