$UNITREE : The Hype Is Cooling — Watch $125–130
Price climbed all the way to around $155 just 4 hours ago, but the momentum has cooled sharply and price is now trying to stabilize around the $120–130 area.
The bigger picture is interesting here 👇
•Price is currently attempting to reclaim the $125–130 zone.
•If bulls can recover and hold above this area, we could see another push toward $140–155.
•But if $125–130 keeps rejecting price, the correction could get much deeper:
🔻 $115–110 → first major downside zone
🔻 $100–90 → stronger accumulation zone if selling accelerates
After a move from roughly $80 → $155, chasing the first bounce is risky. Let price prove the reclaim.
And funding is getting pretty harsh too. Across exchanges, readings are varying, but generally sitting around -1% to -2%, showing aggressive short positioning.
That can create a short squeeze if price suddenly reclaims resistance — but if buyers fail to appear, heavy short positioning can also reflect genuine bearish sentiment.
🏭 But UNITREE isn't just hype
This is where the story gets interesting.
Unitree Technology became the first pure-play humanoid robotics company to list on mainland China's STAR Market, with an IPO price of ¥150.80 and roughly ¥6.1B raised.
The underlying business already has real traction:
• ¥1.7B+ revenue in 2025
• ¥278M net profit
• More than 5,500 humanoid robots shipped in 2025
• Around 18,000 humanoid robots delivered cumulatively by July 2026
• Strong position in quadruped robotics
• G1 humanoid robot helped push humanoid robotics toward mass-market pricing
• Major strategic investors include DeepSeek and Tencent
And the company isn't only selling robots.
Its stack includes:
• Humanoid robots
• Quadruped robots
• Joint motors
• Motion-control systems
• Perception systems
• Computing platforms
• Dexterous hands
• Embodied-AI development
That's important because
#Unitree is trying to control both the robot body and the intelligence layer.
⚠️ The fundamental warning
The valuation is where things become uncomfortable.
The IPO was already priced at roughly 219x earnings, meaning the market was pricing in years of future growth before the stock even started trading.
And there is a real growth concern:
Q1 2026 revenue grew strongly, but profit excluding non-recurring items fell sharply, highlighting rising R&D and scaling costs.
So the market isn't simply asking: "Is Unitree a good company?"
It's asking: "Can Unitree grow fast enough to justify an extreme valuation?"
That's a completely different question.
Competition is also coming fast, especially from Tesla Optimus and other Chinese humanoid manufacturers.
Unitree's ¥150.80 IPO price briefly exploded to around ¥1,100 on debut before pulling back toward ¥900. That's a reminder of just how extreme the robotics narrative has become.
And right now, the chart is saying:
$125–130 = decision zone.
Above it → bulls can regain control.
Below it → $115–110 becomes very realistic.
Lose $100 → $90 becomes the next major zone I'd watch for accumulation, rather than blindly chasing every dip.
🔥 UNITREE is one of the most interesting physical-AI stories in the market
