Bitcoin’s 4-hour swing has entered a consolidating downtrend. To trigger a deep pullback, it must break decisively below the lower boundary of the daily sideways range; otherwise, it will be difficult to open up further downside.
For a major sideways range to establish a clear direction, news catalysts are often needed. For this round’s daily-level directional move, focus mainly on the nonfarm payrolls data on the 4th and CPI data on the 11th. The 17th is relatively late; once the first two sets of data are released, the overall direction should be largely clear.

The current price is constrained by dense moving-average resistance around 2411, showing a weak sideways pattern in the short term. If it can close firmly above the middle band, the short-term target will be around the upper band at 2420; otherwise, if it falls below the middle band again, the market will seek support at the lower band at 2397.72.
My strategy remains to trade short-term: take a light long position around 2410-2420, with a stop loss at 2395 and a target of 2480-2510.

Short entered at 78,308, precise take-profit at 77,580, locking in 180%+ profit! Follow instructions, don’t be greedy, and steadily pocket the gains. Take a break—don’t trade recklessly on your own.

When price surged, volume did not follow, and chasing interest was limited, so the breakout was likely false. I did not enter at the initial breakout, instead waiting for the candlestick to return to the range before trading short. Confirmation matters more than jumping in early.
After the failed breakout was confirmed, price returned inside the range, and the rebound failed to reclaim the breakout level. I entered a short at a key rebound level, with the stop-loss placed at the upper boundary of the range. There was one minor bounce while I held the position, but it did not hit the stop-loss,
