The “Democracy Files” series has a new installment. This one looks at how midterm elections are “carried out.” The author focuses not on voting machines, but on the role of NGOs in early voting. The author says they’re too tired this week to write a summary, so they just toss out two main points and let readers take a look and make up their own minds. That approach fits the series’ usual style: no rush to draw conclusions—first, put the questions on the table.

People who believe the election system is rigged already believe it; those who don’t won’t even read about it. What I’m more curious a

Futures Trading Tips | The Root of Restlessness and What Actually Works
Saying “keep your hands off” is as good as saying nothing. Restlessness isn’t a willpower problem; it’s a systems problem. Understand the mechanism, and you can solve it.
① Three real reasons you feel restless
Boredom: After staring at charts for too long, your brain needs stimulation, and placing a trade is the quickest source of dopamine.
Anxiety: When you’re out of a position, the fear of missing out feels worse than when you’re holding one.
Compensation: After losing, you want to win it back; after winning, you want mo

Why do many people still lose even more after setting a stop-loss?
In BTC futures trading, many people know the importance of stop-losses and set stop orders after opening a position. But strangely, some traders keep losing even though they have set a stop-loss: the price rebounds right after they exit at a loss; after they re-enter, the price starts falling again. After several rounds of this, not only does their capital dwindle, but their trading mindset also deteriorates.
What exactly is going wrong?
First, the stop-loss is set at an unreasonable level. Some people habitually place it at a

$SOL is either building a base here or preparing one last shakeout towards $83

Both scenarios are on the table rn

But one thing I’m watching closely is how price reacts at $88–$90 level

I don’t need to predict the bottom

I need to see buyers show up

Guys, Dog Bro’s positions. Quick update.
Small position in SNDK, manually entered at 836
Small position in BKEND
Also ETH at 2212, stop-loss at 2200
Also, here’s the performance since transferring in $5,000 on November 1: currently up around $2,500. Thursday night’s move gave back a lot of profit, but it is what it is—at least I survived. I’ll try harder next week.

All my open positions are based on a medium- to long-term outlook. If SNDK drops, I’ll add around 770. The stop-loss on the altcoin stays unchanged. ETH is a short-term play.

You know everything written in textbooks; what really makes you lose money are the things where doing the opposite is right. ① The more you want to break even, the less likely you are to. After losing 5%, your goal shifts from “making money” to “breaking even.” Every trade you make then is a bet, not a trade. Remember: the market doesn’t know how much you’ve lost. It won’t compensate you. ② You should cut losing trades, not winning ones. Most people do the opposite: they take profits at 5% and stubbornly hold on at a 20% loss. The result is an 80% win rate and a still-negative account. Cut you

Futures Trading Secrets | Five Ways to Get Liquidated: I’ve seen too many accounts wiped out. It always comes down to these five ways. See which path you’re on. ① Holding Through Losses You refuse to exit a losing trade: “Just wait a little longer and it’ll come back.” You end up holding from a 5% loss to a 30% loss, then get liquidated. Cause of death: Treating stop-losses as suggestions instead of rules. The truth: If the market was going to recover, it wouldn’t have put you this far in the red in the first place. ② Averaging Down You can’t bear to cut your losses, so you add to your positio

This week, $TRUMP really got hit hard😮‍💨

As Republicans lost control of both chambers of Congress in the U.S. midterm elections, TRUMP also faced a wave of heavy selling, sliding from around $1.71 at the start of the week to $1.18, down more than 30% for the week!

It briefly hit around $1.11, setting a new all-time low

This actually fits TRUMP’s asset profile pretty well:

Its price depends largely on Trump’s political influence, the level of market attention, and speculative investors’ willingness to participate

The midterm election results mean policy efforts could face more resistance

In BTC trading, how can you control your emotions? Don’t let emotions place orders for you!

In BTC trading, many people lose money not because they can’t understand the market at all, but because they can’t control their emotions. When prices rise, they worry about missing out and can’t resist chasing the rally; when prices fall, they fear their losses will grow and rush to exit; after a string of losses, they’re eager to make the money back with their next trade. These behaviors may seem like temporary decisions, but they can gradually undermine an entire trading system.

So, how can you bui

At first, I tentatively opened a long position, then decisively added to it and held on with 10x leverage! This time, I scored big on $IDOL , with returns soaring to +1066.82% and perfectly capturing a doubling rally!

I decisively bought the dip at 0.016157. The rationale was clear: IDOL had a solid bottoming pattern, price and volume were perfectly aligned, and the buzz surrounding Gate platform’s sponsorship of the Red Bull F1 team added fuel to the fire. Bullish sentiment was ready to ignite. The current price of 0.033523 has doubled, and holding the long position was the winning move.

When the market is good, everyone thinks they’re a trading genius! Your true skill shows in how you perform when the market moves sharply.

This week, there were 23 live BTC and ETH trades in total: 21 winners and 2 losses.

BTC: 11 trades, net +11,007.1 points, with only 1 loss.

ETH: 12 trades, net +406.9 points, with only 1 loss.

Total: net +11,414.0 points.

But I care more about Wednesday and Thursday.

The market moved sharply on those two days, with big rallies and steep declines one after another. What was truly tested was judgment, execution, and risk management.

$IDOL — Confirmation for the short is important. Entry: $0.0325–$0.0335Take-profit 1: $0.0298Take-profit 2: $0.0267Take-profit 3: $0.0245Stop-loss: $0.0356 [7.9% above entry]If the 15-minute closing price breaks strongly above $0.0355, the basis for the short strategy will weaken. If the price starts reclaiming this resistance level on strong volume, avoid adding to the position. Execution: Consider taking profits in stages at Take-profit 1 and Take-profit 2. The area around $0.0275 is also important, as the 200 MA is nearby and support is expected there.

The U.S. October CPI report will be released on November 10 at 8:30 a.m. ET. September CPI came in at 3.7% year over year, and markets will be watching closely for signs that inflation is cooling, especially in core CPI. A softer-than-expected reading could strengthen rate-cut expectations, while hotter inflation may pressure risk assets through higher Treasury yields and a stronger dollar. How do you think this CPI print will move $BTC, U.S. stocks and gold?
