Abstract generation in progress

Pyth Network collaborates with Kalshi, the first event exchange licensed by the federal government of America, to bring on-chain prediction market data and distribution across more than 100 blockchains. Under the agreement, Kalshi's managed data — including elections, economy, sports, and other real-world events — will be provided through Pyth's oracle to developers, organizations, and DeFi protocols. This is the first time managed event data at scale is being brought onto the blockchain. Pyth stated that the integration allows access to real-time probabilities of future events, turning expectations into combinable on-chain data. Kalshi, operating in 140 countries and recently raising 300 million USD at a valuation of 5 billion USD, provides legitimate data sources. This collaboration opens up new DeFi applications such as derivatives, risk hedging tools, and tokenization of real-world events.
