The stablecoin map is measured in the wrong unit
Every chart of stablecoin supply by chain tells the same story. Ethereum holds roughly half of all issuance, about $156B. Tron holds most of the rest. Everything else is a rounding error. When @circle launched @arc this week with Visa, Mastercard, BlackRock and DTCC as validators, the reflexive read was obvious: another Layer 1 fighting for a slice of a pie two networks already own.
That read is wrong, because supply is the wrong unit. Supply measures where dollars sit. Payments are about where dollars move, and for whom.
