#BTC短线回调 🔥 Precise retest at 82,828! GATE futures bottomed at 82,828.1 before rebounding to 85,000: yesterday’s right-side setup has been validated in the first stage!
Trading focus:
$BTC $ETH $SOL Today, “BTC short-term pullback” remains a hot topic on GATE Square.
But for those who read my post yesterday, the most important thing to watch today is not how much BTC fell from 87,000, but this:
The 82,828 level I have repeatedly emphasized for several days finally saw a genuine retest.
📌 I. 82,828 really happened
I suggest everyone revisit the two BTC analyses I published on September 20 and September 24. In both consecutive posts, I highlighted 82,828 as the key “support/resistance flip” level. After the breakout on September 21, I was waiting not to chase the rally, but for its first retest of this level. Today, the market really provided the answer.
BTC saw a significant pullback after previously surging above $87,000.
And this time, the GATE platform provided some very interesting data:
• GATE futures low: $82,828.1
• GATE spot low: $82,888
It returned almost precisely to the key 82,828 level I have been watching, after which the price rebounded and is currently back around $85,000.
This is why I have always emphasized: Don’t guess in trading; let the market provide the answer itself.
• On September 20, I proposed: Break above 82,828 with increased volume → hold above it on the retest → look for right-side opportunities according to the trading system.
• On September 21, BTC broke above 82,828 and surged to $87,401.5.
• Yesterday, I continued to emphasize: The breakout is only the first step; what really matters is confirmation on the retest.
Today, the market has completed its first validation.
🎯 II. 82,828 is showing signs of “resistance turning into support”
This retest did not result in a clear break below 82,828, and the price subsequently rebounded.
For my trading system, this at least indicates that there is currently clear buying support around 82,828.
But I will not declare “permanent support confirmation” based on one precise retest.
What is truly worth continuing to watch is whether selling pressure weakens on another test → whether the price can stabilize on declining volume → whether it can break upward again with increased volume.
If this structure continues to hold, confidence that 82,828 is transitioning from prior resistance to support will increase further.
🚀 III. My next trading plan
My trading formula has never changed: Breakout → retest → hold → follow through.
The first two steps have now appeared:
✅ Break above 82,828
✅ Retest around 82,828 and rebound
Next, I will continue to monitor:
First: Can it challenge the previous high of 87,401.5 again?
Second: If it breaks above the previous high, then watch the $89,200–$90,600 resistance zone;
Third: If it falls below 82,828 again later and fails to reclaim it, this breakout will need to be reassessed.
So I will not panic because BTC pulled back from 87,000, nor will I chase the rally because it rebounded to 85,000.
The core of my trading remains: wait for the market to confirm, rather than predict the market.
🔥 This time, 82,828 has at least provided a very important signal:
The previous resistance is undergoing its first validation as it “turns into support.”
Next, it remains to be seen whether BTC can hold this level and then challenge 87,401.5.
What do you think?
A. 82,828 support holds; continue looking for right-side opportunities 🚀
B. Reaches 87,401; watch resistance and take-profit levels
C. Confirm the opportunity after a second retest ☕
D. Breaks below 82,828; continue waiting 📉
