The Senate just killed CLARITY a couple of days ago,
and two days later the regulator signed its own exemption order, giving on-chain U.S. stocks a five-year pathway through the SEC. You really can’t make this stuff up.
But note that the exemption only recognizes genuine equity tokens. Dividends and voting rights cannot be omitted, while synthetic assets that only track stock prices do not qualify.
There’s another detail: you have to notify the company 30 days in advance before listing its stock. If the company objects, it cannot be listed.
