Why can tighter stop-losses sometimes lead to more consecutive losses?
In cryptocurrency trading, many people believe that tighter stop-losses mean less risk. This idea has some merit, but if market volatility and trade structure are ignored, stop-losses that are too tight may cause traders to exit frequently and miss moves that otherwise align with their expectations.
For example, suppose you buy Bitcoin near a certain price, planning to profit from a trend continuation. If your stop-loss is too close to your entry price, a normal price pullback may trigger it. Then, when the price rises agai

What Is Slippage? Why Might the Price You See Before Placing an Order Change by the Time It Executes?
In cryptocurrency trading, you may have encountered this situation: the price you see before placing an order looks ideal, but after the order is filled, the actual execution price is higher than expected, or you sell at a lower price than expected.
This difference between the expected price and the actual execution price is commonly known as slippage.
First, how does slippage occur?
The most common causes include rapid market fluctuations, insufficient order book depth, and an order size that

absolute lunatics.
same people that naively think they would've killed it in previous cycles, not realizing the agonizing chop we had to endure majority of the time - currently losing their minds because the market ranged for a month.
never succumb to this kind of behavior if you want to do well in markets; when the move that matters actually happens, you'll be stripped of the confidence required in order to trade it appropriately
so instead of trying to draw assumptions from insignificant price action,

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Billionaire Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson flees California, listing his $70 million mansion for sale as the state considers new wealth tax.
$NEAR The current price of 4.732 is nearing the 1-hour resistance at 4.81, with a 24-hour gain of +0.66% that looks steady. But 1-hour trading volume has plunged to just 6.8% of its usual level, leaving the price’s push toward this key level without participation to back it up.
The outlook is currently bullish, but caution is warranted: this price-volume divergence makes the rally look lacking in conviction. A breakout above 4.81 on rising volume would confirm the trend, while a drop below the 4.544 support could trigger a short-term pullback. The key question is: with price leading and volu

Why might trading more frequently actually make your account shrink faster?
In the cryptocurrency market, many traders watch candlestick charts every day, afraid of missing any rise or fall. Whenever prices move, they want to enter the market; after making a small profit, they look for the next opportunity, and after a loss, they rush to trade again.
They may seem diligent, yet their accounts can quietly shrink.
The problem is that making more trades does not necessarily mean having more opportunities to profit.
First, trading costs keep adding up. Every buy and sell may incur fees, and the ac

The yield curve inversion—the “world’s most closely watched recession signal”—has once again been the subject of intense discussion lately. Subtract the 2-year Treasury yield from the 10-year yield, and you get a negative number. Historically, when this thing inverts, things often get rocky afterward: after the inversion in 2000, the U.S. economy fell into recession in 2001; after the inversion from 2006 to 2007 came the Great Recession triggered by the 2007–2009 financial crisis; and the curve inverted in August 2019, followed by the pandemic shock in 2020. Statistically, since the 1960s, the

$GOOGL AI Growth Is Impressive. But Is It Profitable?
Alphabet’s Q2 2026 revenue rose 24% to $119.8B, while Google Cloud surged 82% to $24.8B.
But the real challenge is balancing AI innovation with profitability. AI can strengthen Search while changing how advertising generates revenue, and infrastructure spending raises the bar for returns.
The key question: Can Google monetize AI without weakening its core business?
