Current price: 81663. Looking at the chart, the price plunged to 807 overnight and then rebounded to 82050, but couldn't even hold above 820. Now it has dutifully retreated to around 816 and is just idling. What does this tell us? It shows that this weekend's rebound was just a paper tiger, with heavy selling pressure overhead. The bulls simply don't have the confidence to push higher.
Liquidity is low over the weekend, so wicks in either direction are normal. Don't let a brief rebound fool you. The broader bearish structure remains unchanged, and next week the market will likely test how well the 80k level holds.
