Genuinely not sure what it would take for base coins/base season to meaningfully come back to 2024/2025 levels
The main advantage of base was that it is EVM compatible + low fees + support from a T1 CEX
RH Chain has all of the same advantages
The only event that would bring liquidity back to base would be some sort of novel tech/concept launching there (for ex. virtuals or friendtech) and creating a completely new narrative. But the question is why would the developers of such a concept decide to launch on Base instead of RH when RH clearly has a lot more volume and attention.

Haven’t been tweeting much as I don’t see much reason to when the market is this bad. I have still been trading crypto but my size is much smaller than it was last year (for example)
Majority of my holdings are in the stock market and have been since last year. My current strategy with stocks have been more mid-long term holdings such as MAG7 large caps but I’m going to try and play some shorter term momentum narrative plays similar to those in crypto. Will be posting some of these here for fun
My views on the crypto market haven’t changed, I don’t see a material change in the crypto market

some rambling on $HYPE from someone who doesn't have a pos in it:
it would be amusing if the whole idea of the token buybacks was to prop up the price of the token so that when the unlocks come they can sell for a favorable price
craft a narrative that the team is never gonna sell, they are angels that exist purely to drive value to holders who have done nothing besides press the buy button
they have spent ~$800M in buybacks and have ~8B of core contributor $HYPE tokens being unlocked over the next 2 years
spend $800M (+ whatever buybacks will occur over the next 2 years) to sell their tokens

i know this is stating the obvious but im looking at charts of altcoins and they all look unfathomably ruined
especially if you look at some of the older tokens
if you were a holder of any altcoin (outside of a very small few) you have been ruined this cycle
crypto participants as a collective have agreed that alts are worthless and purely exist to sell at a profit to the next idiot
the believer culture that led alts to sky high valuations in 2021 has been obliterated, this is detrimental and something which cant really be reversed

i would not recommend trying to buy the $jesse token at launch, it will most likely get sniped heavily and if you are trying to buy manually you will get ruined
capital preservation is key, especially in downtrends
