Bitcoin bear markets keep getting less severe. Here’s where the next bottom could land
Every Bitcoin bull run has ended the same way: with a long, brutal decline. What changes is how deep the decline is, and this pattern is worth considering.
The drop after the 2011 peak was about 94%. After 2013, it was about 87%; after 2017, about 84%; and after 2021, about 77%. Each bear market was less severe than the one before it. I suspect selling has less of an impact on Bitcoin’s price as its market grows and more institutions hold it.
If this trend continues, the next decline should

Long position on ETH: Target of $2,320 in sight
I opened a long position on ETH at $2,288, with a target of $2,320. The trade is based on the possibility of a short-term recovery, but I’m closely watching how the price reacts to nearby resistance levels.
The distance to my target is $32, equivalent to a gain of around 1.40% from my entry price. The key question now is whether buyers can maintain momentum and push ETH toward $2,320 without losing the nearby support zone.
I don’t consider the target guaranteed. If momentum weakens or the market structure changes, I’ll reassess the

1. The quiet slowdown in the Strait of Hormuz
In the final week of October, daily crude oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz fell to 7.3 million barrels, more than 40% below pre-war levels. While the average for the entire month was around 11.1 million barrels per day, the decline in that final week raises a question: Is this temporary volatility, or the first whisper of a more lasting shift in direction? For the individual investor, the answer has less to do with lines on a chart than with one’s perception of risk.

Ethereum recently retreated toward $2,200, showing notable weakness in its price action amid a broader market decline. Meanwhile, Bitcoin fell to around $77,000.
Although both assets have faced downward pressure in recent sessions, the real story is not limited to their absolute price movements; it also includes the divergence in capital flows between them. Institutional and investor funds continued to favor Bitcoin more steadily through regulated products, even as prices of both assets declined. This divergence highlights structural and sentiment diff
