Yesterday brought joy to some and sorrow to others.
Wednesday's move was extremely strong. It opened above 4330, dipped as low as 4324, then rallied all the way up, reaching around 4506 at the high. It has now reached the 4510-4511 area, with the day's gain approaching 4%.
The driver was very clear: the FOMC minutes were broadly dovish, long-end yields fell, and short covering combined with long chasing erased the entire previous day's decline and created a new stage high. Bullish sentiment was clearly ignited after the minutes.
