The Illusion of 1 Billion in Trading Volume? A Test of Coinbase Stock Tokens’ Real Ability to Absorb Sell-Offs When U.S. Stock Markets Are Closed
This article assesses the liquidity and risks of the Coinbase stock token on Base. The $100k quote is only a momentary estimate and cannot represent the market’s capacity to absorb large sell-offs; pool balances alone are insufficient to directly indicate capacity. After-hours trading still takes place when U.S. stocks are closed, while the oracle maintains the old price; the actual selling price is determined by the secondary market, and changes in incentives and governance may rapidly drain funds.

Genius co-founder: Points are an additional benefit and will be adjusted according to actual circumstances. Our own tokens will not unlock before users'.
Genius’s adjustment to its points rules has sparked dissatisfaction. Co-founder Ryan Myher said that points are merely an additional benefit of trading crypto assets, and users agreed to the airdrop terms when using the platform; users from SZN1 onward effectively agreed twice. Those who do not accept the terms cannot use the platform. The adjustment was made because daily trading volume declined, resulting in fewer points being distributed. He pledged to operate the project for the long term and said his own tokens would not be unlocked first. It was previously reported that the unlocking of 70 million tokens would be postponed until 2028.

Wall Street legend Bill Miller: Why did I bet half my fortune on Bitcoin?
Author: Hash Global Research
Bill Miller is best known for outperforming the S&P 500 for 15 consecutive years while managing Legg Mason Value Trust.
Yet this very same renowned Wall Street value investor later did something that seemed far from “value investing”: he allocated more than half of his personal wealth to Bitcoin.
This created an almost natural paradox:
Why would a value investor heavily invest in an asset that “lacks fundamentals”?
Under the most classic value-investing framework, Bitcoin seemingly should never have entered Miller’s field of vision in the first place: it generates no cash flow, has no balance sheet, and its value cannot be measured using a standard DCF model.
But Miller did not see it that way.
