I recently muted several project groups completely, and ironically, I can see things more clearly now.
I used to get emotionally swept up by messages like “milestone achieved” and “treasury expenditure disclosed.” Now I just check in every half-day and take a quick look, which makes it easier to ask myself: Did the codebase actually change after this money was spent? Are the governance votes just going through the motions, or is there really a fight? Put bluntly, many projects have turned “getting things done” into a PR cycle: milestones are set on a whim, and the spending is just money moving

While the dollar index and risk assets are whipsawing together, people in the group are arguing again over whether stablecoin issuance is a signal that institutions are entering the market.
I took a look at the on-chain data. USDT and USDC supplies are indeed rising, but the dates do not line up with ETF net inflows—sometimes they differ by two or three days, and sometimes they move in the opposite direction altogether. Put simply, stablecoins look more like a buffer for market participants reallocating positions than a leading indicator of new money flowing in from outside.
The same goes for

Lately, I’ve been getting a little obsessed with testnet points. What was originally just practice has now turned into everyone calculating expected returns, with some even paying a premium for equipment. This feels all too familiar, pretty much the same buildup as before GameFi economies collapsed— inflation, farming operations, a downward price spiral, none of it missing. To be honest, I get tempted too, thinking, “What if?” But when I calm down and think about it, points are essentially a ticket, not a source of income. If you really have the ability, farming points is just something you do

Actually, when many people assess whether a project is reliable, they look at how frequently its GitHub is updated and whether it has several audit reports. But no matter how many GitHub stars it has, it is useless if no one actually reviews the code; audit reports can be even more superficial—you need to see what the audit scope was and whether it excluded the part you are most worried about. I usually check the upgrade multisig first, because that is more direct than anything else—how many signers there are, whether changing signers requires a timelock, and whether the logic can be changed b

Can the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City refuse to open an account with just one line of “concerns about the business model”? If this discretion has no limits, how can crypto banks in each state continue to survive in the future—this constitutional-level battle is only just beginning.

WuSaidBlockchainW2026-07-10 22:42:14

Wu Says he learned that, according to crypto reporter Eleanor Terrett, Custodia Bank, a crypto bank in Wyoming, has filed an application with the U.S. Supreme Court seeking review of whether a regional Federal Reserve Bank has the authority to deny qualified state-chartered banks permission to open a master account. Custodia said the Kansas City Fed’s decision to reject its application changes the balance of regulatory authority between state and federal bank regulators and involves constitutional issues, including the appointment and powers of the Federal Reserve Bank’s president. Previously, the U.S. District Court for Wyoming and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals both supported the Federal Reserve’s position, finding that it has broad discretion to refuse Custodia’s request to open a master account. The Kansas City Fed said its rejection of Custodia’s application in 2023 was mainly due to concerns about its crypto-centric business model.

Perp funding rate is still surging, while CVD is just lying flat—familiar script, familiar burst of long liquidations.

AriaNaka2026-07-06 10:29:33

$BTC It’s not looking good for bulls.
Exactly what I previously said I didn’t want to see during this move is happening.
Perps are continuously aping into longs, while spot CVD has been flat for a few days now.
This brings back the same dynamic that led to almost all previous reversals after a leg up over the past few months.
It’s just a fact in crypto that moves which aren’t supported by spot are very fragile.
Of course, this doesn’t mean we have to dump right away.
We have also seen that this can continue for a bit longer, but if we don’t get substantial spot buying soon, we’ll see new lows faster than late longs can read their liquidation notice.

CoinGecko: Base has become the most DeFi-native USDC network

CoinGecko’s analysis of the USDC usage distribution across five EVM chains shows: Base is the most DeFi-oriented, with about 49% in lending protocols and 36% in DEX liquidity—85% in total—while exchanges account for 13%. About 68% of Ethereum’s USDC is on centralized exchanges, and BNB Chain has 88%, with much of it taking on exchange settlement functions. Arbitrum has the most balanced distribution, and about 25% of Polygon is related to gambling platforms.

Right before the upgrade, I tested a few mainstream RPCs, and the nonce for the same address didn't match—it was off by two blocks. When I asked the node provider, they said it was "indexing lag," meaning their cache hadn't caught up to the latest height, but your frontend had already opened, so a transaction sent out could directly hit a nonce error.
I used to think on-chain data was absolute truth, but after seeing more, I realize that RPC nodes are also intermediaries, and indexing services are even more second-hand information. It's especially chaotic around a fork—some people's nodes are
